Rightio, sign-up for January is now closed. We have a stellar group this month and I'm so excited to get going! Be sure to post a pic if you can. Stay tuned, emails are going out tomorrow, January 16. And head's up, the emails will be coming from kristine@maryjanesfarm.org; sometimes this email will end up in your spam folder the first time round. Happy swapping everyone :)

I missed the cutoff but would like to participate next month. I couldn't find the guidelines though. Could someone provide me directions or a link? Thanks.

Hi there Sammy! I would suggest going to Farm Girl Swap and looking in the folder Mail Art Etiquette - that gives you the basic rules. Each month you want to participate, notify the mail art moderator and then make your mailart. You will get an email with your partner's name (who you keep secret) and you mail it off before the deadline. Be sure to post pictures of what you get! We all are interested in seeing what others make. Welcome to mail art, we'll see you next month.

Becky,
Thank you for the adorable pocket book, and vintage laced valentine! How cute and creative, I love them! The valentine is hanging in my kitchen and I've added some trinkets to my pocket book. I would love to come visit you and your flower farm sometime!

My mail art for January was mailed today by snail mail. I hope it will not be slimy, but it will be a bit slow and should arrive next Monday, Feb. 1 St.

It is not a requirement to include anything more than your mail art. A lot of gals like to add what they call "tucks", including little extras in their packages. I am not a "tucker", so we roll both ways

I opened this beautiful wrap last night from Aimee - it is in my favorite colors and helps with the drafts in this house. I am sorry but I don't know if it is crocheted or knitted? I don't do either so I think it is crocheted but I am not sure.
It is beautiful - thank-you!

Becky!! I am so glad you like it! It is called "Wing Span" pattern and it is actually knit on a loom knitting board. Wear it and think of a hug from Maine to Ohio!

Portia, Thank you for my fairy book! It is so sweet and I lov that each page has something special tucked away. I can tell you put a lot of thought into creating the book and that makes it even more special.

WoW!
Look what came in my mail yesterday- a sparkly pocket book mark, an elegant quilled rose marker, a sweet cherry needle case (yay I can throw the current needle home piece of felt)and look at the glorious journal! What an inspiration from Rose Ann. To top it off the card and her sweet sketch on the envelope were all chicken themed, how'd she know I have 20 of them?! Farmgirl MAGIC!
Thanks so much!!!
