Relaxation is always on my list but I never seem to get around to it. Lol! I'm lucky if I get an hour of quiet in my house. Maybe this coming fall when my boys start preschool I will be able to work on that badge.

Trying out my Chill-Over powder. This one was a success with the 5 teenagers in the house! I used one can of organic coconut milk, 1/2 sugar,1/2 cup shredded coconut, and 1/2 cup pineapple tidbits on a graham cracker crust.

Oh, Jenny....that looks really yummy! I was just sitting here trying to come up with some chill over recipes...what a great idea to use it in a pie filling!

Trying out my chill-over powder. This one we decided would be good in summer, but not what we were looking for this time of year. I used 1 cup lemonade, 1 cup pineapple juice, and a small can of mandarin oranges.

Does the lemonade dessert have a crust?

Mary Jane has a chill over powder that is used to make desserts, etc. It's a healthy version of a "gelatin" powder.

Debbie- I actually made two, one with a crust and one without. The one with a crust was awful! It tasted gritty, but the one without a crust was fine.

Ah right! Hmm not a great dessert lover so might give this a miss :D (although at this time of the year a crumble can be nice!)

Jenny, your coconut one sounds amazing! I want to give it a try. The lemonade one sounds a bit to sweet for me. Thank you for sharing your recipes with us!

I recently applied for my first badges. I have purchased a plain muslin bag and plan to sew all my earned badges on it. What suggestions do you have to print them off onto transfer paper? Can't wait to get started filling it up!

Congratulations Jenny! I like the idea of sewing your badges onto a bag. I don't have any suggestions on how since I'm inexperienced with sewing, but I would love to see it as you move along!

Been submitting so much since I was on hiatus for a few months, but still actively doing things for badges! Is anyone else doing badges centered around Earth Day for April? I'm aiming for Herbs and Outstepping this month.

Krista, you had asked me a while back what I do for meditation. I have a room that I like to use because I am comfortable there. I sit on the floor Indian style and place my hands on my knees, palms facing up. I try to remove myself from everything going on around me and just let numbers float around in my head. I know it sounds strange but it really works. Sometimes I just think about different words. Whatever words decide to enter my mind. I find it to be relaxing. Another meditation I try is lying in bed and getting ready to sleep. I focus on relaxing my body starting at the toes and moving up. It is a way to relieve tension. It really does help.

Lori, thank you for sharing with me. That is very interesting. I will have to try the night time relaxation one. There are nights when I have so much running through my head that it's hard to fall asleep. I bet if I tried that I may be able to fall asleep sooner and stay relaxed. It's amazing how much of a difference relaxation and meditation can do for your mind.

Anyone working on a badge? I'm currently working on my advanced crochet badge. I need to teach 4 more people how to crochet. My niece asked me earlier this week if I would teach her. I told her yes, but we just need to find some time. After I teach her I will be down to 3 more. Oh how I love to crochet.
