I’ve been earning merit badges all summer, I just need to apply for them... had too much going on here.

What are you planning on working on in 2018, Hilary?

Cyrie, what badges did you earn?

2018 I have a goal to earn a few merit badges! I've put this off for way to long and this is the year. I will be working on the Stitching & Crafting badges.

I may start to work on some merit badges. There is always something else that comes up to delay it. I want to find a way to integrate badge activities with my busy life.

Hilary, those should be fun! I can't wait to hear how your progress goes with them.

Joanna, that's my favorite category of badges. Do you know which one you will start with?

Marie, that is exactly how I feel. There are so many I want to work on, but struggle to get around to them.

I'm going to work on my Spinning and Dyeing for Colour badges. I have to do both with my Master Spinner Course from Olds College in Alberta. I've left getting any badges done for quite a while as the Spinning course is quite intensive and I'm behind where I feel I ought to be.

I am just getting back into this forum and merit badges. I tragically lost my computer a few months ago with all of my stuff on it, my son's new video game killed it. So now I'm back with a bigger, better computer, just less stuff. :( I lost all of my files so I am hoping that I can get in touch with someone to see which merit badges I did finish, because now I have no idea. But I am excited to be back here online and working towards new and fun things. GO TEAM! :)

Jennifer,
I think you can contact Brian or anyone in the office to get that info

Yes, I agree with Nancy. They should be able to assist you. Brian will be your best bet. Glad to have you back and I'm sorry to hear about your last computer.

Joanna, that's a great idea. There are so many things in that category I want to learn. I'm hoping to get to them this coming year. I hope you will share your progress and projects.

You got it Jill! Those will be some fun badges to work on.

I'm needing to get back to it as well. I have to look at what I've earned and where I want to go from there. I have to be so careful not to overextend. The one I know I want to work on is entrepreneur because my husband Erik and I started a business this year and we hope it will grow is 2018!

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but.... I have started my Bibliophile Badge in addition to finishing my cheese making as soon as my goats nurse those babies for a few weeks. My book included a start on a few other badges too.....The Earth Moved is much better than I thought is would be. My library offers e-books as well as movie and regular books to check out. The also have knitting groups and book clubs too. I have been inspired! As part of the Bibliophile badge I need to post a picture of my TBR (To Be Read) pile. So....here it is!

Way to go Marlene! You are awesome working on multiple badges at once. Make sure to keep us posted as you move along. Also, that looks like a wonderful TBR pile! Which book are you reading currently?

I have completed the first step in the Quilting section of the Stitching and Crafting Badge. Completely done by hand, no machine sewing for this one! Love how it looks.

That's a great badge Hilary. I should do that one since I have so many UFOs.

Joanna, your quilt is beautiful! You did an amazing job sewing by hand.

I dropped off the radar for a couple of years after joining due to life. I am glad to be back and am looking forward to working on my badges! I am starting with Weather since we have had floods, ice and snow this year! Texas weather is so diverse! Also will begin work on Farmgirl Gratitude. This year is bringing many changes in my life as I face an empty nest after raising children for 38+ years!
