Hey sisters! I'm putting out a call for suggestions on books for my farm library. I need books on raising, breeding and keeping dairy cattle, pasture management, home dairy businesses, cheese making and other assorted similar topics.

Nice to see you back on the farm!!! I also suggest you get a copy of Mary Jane's book - it's wonderful. Another great place to find all kinds of informative books is Acres. They have a magazine you can subscribe to, but they also have a bunch of books. I always have a few on my wish list. I'm sending you an e-mail too.

one of the best books I read about dairy cattle was by Juliette DeBairacli Levy. A very interesting lady and she used herbs for a great deal of her medical care of cattle and her Afghan dogs.

Hi Annika, I have an autographed book by Joann s Grohman called Keeping A Family Cow. I do not have cows but saw this book at an estate sale and picked it up. I also have a brown bag cookie art clay cookie mold of a cow.. I am selling the pair for 15.00 plus shipping if you are interested. They are both in like new condition. thanks cheryl
