My mini gardens are growing and growing. We've been cutting and using the herbs from the gnome garden. The flowers in the fairy garden have grown tall enough that you can't see the fairy or the little teacup as well. They are doing well and we are enjoying them!

My little gnome garden with English thyme, rosemary and spicy basil continues to provide wonderful herbs for our cooking pleasure!

My little fairy garden flowers have grown so beautiful and so much that you can hardly see the fairy! :D

As I write I'm looking at my cowboy cactus mini garden from FarmGirl Jubilee 2015. It's the only thing I'm wintering over inside this year. The jade, pincushion cactuses, and ponytail cactus are doing fine and growing so slow they won't have to be transplanted this year. The little iron Texas horned-toad seems to be quite happy among the cactuses even though he's lassoed by the cowboy cactus (Christmas ornament).

We have to start over every spring Ceejay. We live "up north". But it's fun to plan a new one.

Well. the snow had all melted off my mini gardens and I could see my little gnome again (I had taken the fairy out of her garden and brought her in the house back in the fall).
However, they just got all covered up again . . . more snow! Oh well!

I'm planning my 2017 Mini Jubilee Garden. I gave away the plants in my 2016 mini garden because I didn't want to winter over the jade and cactus plants in the house. So I get to make a new one -that's a very good thing.

My big cream and green enamelware wash tub of hens n/ chickens has wintered over on the deck. They survived 12 degrees, snow, and a little ice so I will use it for my mini garden. Now I know they will survive our winters I can keep the garden year after year.

Dollar General is putting out their garden items. Today I bought a miniature table with teapot, 2 cups and a lady bug on top; chair, and bench. All look like they were made out of split logs. Don't have a complete design in my head yet but I know I will use the miniature furniture in some way.

I know I'm a little early, well a whole lot early, thinking about the Jubilee but I like to gather things up as I see them in the stores. Come Jubilee they may be gone.

Grace I hope the weather warms for you soon.

My hen n/ chickens min-garden survived our mild winter outdoors and is thriving in the sunshine when we get it. We're still having overcast days. I have 3 wee split log garden furniture in it but it needs a focal point and I don't know what that will be. I'll know when I see it.

We are getting a snow dump right now. This has been the warmest winter on record with two tornadoes earliest in the season ever. The weather is nuts. I'll just have to put my garden plans on hold for now.

I saw the mini furniture at Dollar General and my mind was spinning! Can't wait to make a mini-fairy garden with it this spring. If spring ever comes.....it feels very far off up here!

My mini-garden of hen n/ chicks didn't fare as well this year - a couple of 9 degree nights did some of them in so I will have to replace them. I would like to add a few new things to the mini-twig furniture - Annie chewed on the bench so there's room for something new.

Since our theme this year is garden pollinators I would like to make a wee straw bee hive for mini-garden. Instead of straw I could use small rope, white glue, and sealer.

The thing about Jubilee the ideas and projects just keep coming. I like that we are free to do as much or as little as we want and in our on style.
