Yippee,,, today is another fun day.... Being honored with the FGOTM crown,,, got me ambitious!
I have spent the day gathering up a gazillion stacks of magazines... I bundled them up according to type ( garden, horse, decorating) and I will donate them to our local Library book/mag sale....

That's great, Grace. Another place for magazines is your local hospital waiting rooms. Whenever I've been visiting someone the magazines are oh so old. LOL!

Remember Grace...I too am from Spokane. My mom still lives there she is 82 and lives on her own.
I lived there for 28 years and graduated HS from Shadle Park. So, we have all kinds of similar
back ground.

R.T.G.... I made it into town today and hit the Post... and oh what a pleasant surprise to find a sweet package from you...
I will be using my FGOTM tea cozy and tea today around 2-ish... my time for tea...

Grace, yes this is the fabric from MaryJane's Milk Cow Collection that came out when she released her book. It reminds me of her beautiful Heritage Jersey cows at her farm that I saw last Spring. I am glad you like it as a mug rug for your tea beside your computer. Making mug rugs was one of the first swaps I ever joined and it was hosted by our Beth Jones. In her original directions, she said to make them big enough so there was room beside your mug for a few cookies. Perfect!! What a great idea. So, this mug rug idea was inspired by a Farmgirl here on the Chatroom and MaryJanes fabric that reminds me of my visit last Spring. It is my way of sending a FGOTM a bit of Farmgirl Romance as MaryJane would say!

I love that we MJF gals inspire each other... and yep,, I luv the extended size of the mug rug to place my tea biscuits, scones or cookies on...
I may have to make one for my sewing room, to set by my sewing machine... because I am always cleaning up crumbs by my machine... far be it for me to use a napkin or small saucer... lol!

Oh MY!!!
I have not been to the Post since last Thursday and Wowzers,,, my P.O. box was stuffed... In fact I still have a package to pick-up but the office was closed...
Any how,,, lookie lookie what was waiting for me!
our very own Yellow Rose of Texas,,, Sara aka Yellowrose, sent me the sweetest Hen & Basket fabric,,, A Maryjane design for Moda fabric...
Oh my,,, what shall I make??? so excited...
Sara Thank you 'sew' very much for the lovely fabric... and the ever so sweet yoyo pumpkin pin... Luv It too! and will be wearing it this weekend to the Tarantula Fest in our little community...
and... then in the other package,,, from Maryjane at the Farm,,, yummy pumpkin spice Kettle Corn,,, oh you can bet I will enjoy it!
also in the package was a small bag of yummy Hot & Spicy chocolate, by "Cowgirl Chocolates"... Nearly every time I traveled through Moscow on my way to Elk, ID I would pop into Marilyn's shop to pick up a few yummy chocolates to take with me for Glamping... Unfortunatly on my last trip to Elk (in July) I didn't get to stop.... so this is a really big treat.
I have been feeling so pampered by all of you wonderful MJF sisters,,, Hugz to you all...

I have seen these microwave bowl pads,,, but have never made one,,, and now I don't have too!... heeheehee...
and I luv this cute fabric!
