LOL! Thank you, Grace! I'm working on the Pat Speth quilt and apron here today. Trying to finish up the apron so I can post a picture.
My boyfriend is taking me to see "Texas: The Musical" at Palo Duro Canyon this weekend. We will be camping in an A-Liner. Looking forward to a nice weekend. I'll probably come home to 100s of emails to answer. LOL! If you don't hear from me until Sunday, that's why.

I love getting Farmgirl mail - especially when it is a surprise!
Thank you Sara (yellowrose) for the beautiful MJF fabrics, red eyelet trim, and the cutest little bag made out of an Imperial Sugar sack (I'll have to steal that idea!) I'm using the red eyelet today, and will post the finished product soon. You know how much I love fabrics! I have been stocking up on MJF fabrics (my second order in 2 weeks is ready to send in) but the fabrics you sent are some I don't have yet. Thank you SO much!
Thank you Connie (Killarney) for the great box that arrived today. I love the antique sewing pins, needles, wooden tubular needle case, and bobbins, and the three fabrics with hearts, chickens/roosters, and cherries. I already have ideas for all the fabrics.

Thank you, MaryJane, for the beautiful blue butter dish you sent. I love it! It will be used and displayed prominently in my kitchen and on my table!
And the book - Moo-n Over Main Street Metropolis. What a super great story! I'm going to have my grandsons read it to me - will be good practice and an important lesson. I love the Milk Cow Fun Facts.
And I'm going to frame the certificate in a barn-wood frame!

Today I received the most beautiful Rooster Dish Drainer quilt/Table Runner/WH from Sherry (sweettea59).
I have loved all the Congratulatory greetings here on the chat forum and the cards and surprise gifts that arrived in the mail. Thank you everyone. All of the farmgirls here are special angels - each with talents all their own. Thank you again for being a part of my life.

Hello, everyone. Thank you all for making my month so memorable. I have truly enjoyed being the August 2015 Farm Girl of the Month. Everyone has been so welcoming and I want to thank you again for the congratulatory messages, cards, and gifts that have made this a very special month for me. Thanks Linda for thinking of me. Like I told you on the phone there's nothing like hearing a FarmGirl's voice. I am surprised and truly honored to be September's FGOM. This will be a special month for me with 30 days of celebrating. FGOM & MJF Apple Festival will make it the highlight of my year here on the Farm. Just wait until my girls (chickens) here the news.
