I just wanted to say Hello to everyone...being Farm Girl of the Month has been bittersweet for me since I lost my sweet little bundle of fur...taking care of my Sweet Kitty has taken a lot of my time this month...I just wanted to say you all are in my thoughts and prayers and if there is anything I can do for any of you please let me know...my heart is always full of love and encouragement for others...please keep the Farm Girl Sisterhood Day of Prayer in your thoughts and prayers and be making your list out about what you need to pray about...have a wonderful week...

Hey Girls!
It is time to pass the honor of Farm Girl of the Month on to a wonderful farm sister...
I want to thank each of you for your kind words... thoughtfulness and for the sympathy cards that were sent to me during the month of September...as I said earlier it has been a bittersweet month...having the honor of being Farm Girl of the Month for September and also losing my Sweet Kitty this month...God is so good to me and my family:)and is helping us each day to cope with the loss of our Sweet Kitty...
During the past couple of weeks with our loss...it has been a constant reminder of how kind...thoughtful and caring farm sisters are in our times of hurt and need...
With that in mind...I have chosen the Farm Girl of the Month for October...
Before I announce the name of our Farm Girl of the Month...I want to thank Sharon for giving me this honor for the month of September...you will never know how much it meant to me...also I want to thank Mary Jane and Meg for giving us a place to come to...where we can share smiles...laughs...ideas...recipes...photos of those things that are special to us...barters and swaps...but most of all for a place we can make friends with likeminded farm sisters and share our needs...thoughts and prayers...
The Farm Girl I have chosen for the month of October is a very encouraging and supportive farm sister...she is always concerned about the needs of others and is very involved not only with her family and church but also here on the MJF site...she enjoys doing the swaps and most of all interacting and praying for other farm sisters...she sets a wonderful example of what a caring and dedicated farm girl is supposed to be...
The sweet lady I have chosen to be Farm Girl of the Month for October is...

I am so happy to pass this honor down to her...she was there for me every day during the 2 weeks that my Sweet Kitty was sick...trying any way she could help from a distance...and always encouraging me and lifting me up in prayer...she is a very caring wife...mother and dedicated teacher...Christian farm girl...and friend...she has been very helpful in organizing the Farm Girl Sisterhood Day of Prayer...
I pray that she has a very enjoyable time during the month of October...
Ladies please join me in congratulating Jenny as our new Farm Girl of the Month!!!

Blessed! That's the first word that comes to mind.
I am so honored to be chosen and thought of by a wonderfully, inspiring person like Judy.
I don't have much family and finding MaryJane's family has been exactly what I have been
looking for in my life. I know that at any time I can visit with my sisters and have someone
cheer me on, give me advice or pray for me. I don't know where else in today's world, we can
find that peace of mind. No judgements, no negative thoughts...just genuine love for one
another.
When I lost my parents in my 20s, the creative part of me went into hiding. Without their
support or accolades, I was stagnant- not doing what I loved to do. With the swaps, I have
been able to have a purpose and come out of hiding by making things and giving them to others. What a perfect
combination! Even my husband and daughter have noticed the changes in me since becoming
active in MaryJane's wonderful world.
Thank you for this life-changing experience, MaryJane. You've really helped me be that farmgirl
at heart that I was meant to be.
Thank you, Judy for being my friend, for including me and for making me feel needed and special.
Truly, truly blessed.
