Patty, Congratulations!! It was so easy to recognize you from Holly's description. You do so much. You inspire all of us in the over 50 and you have more than once made me get movin' after reading about all you accomplish in a day. I hope you and your dh have a big celebration when he arrives home. That is the one drawback of the forum. Although we feel so "close", we aren't physically. You have got to have some REAL hugs for this honor, but in the meantime here's a cyber-hug (( ))! I am so happy to know you.

Wow, this month has flown by quickly! It has been a pleasure and a real treat being chosen as FGOTM. Later today I will relinquish my apron to the June Farmgirl of the Month! I am so excited to have had the opportunity to choose her. Stay tuned... I am not quite ready to give it up. :) Besides, I want to keep you in suspense for a bit! And I want to keep her in suspense for a bit. But it won't be long. :)

This was not a hard decision. I have chosen a wonderful lady to represent MJF as June Farmgirl of the month. This lady is found on many threads, so many of you should already be acquainted.
This lady is a gracious, caring, kind and always
supportive woman. She instinctively knows the perfect thing to say
to each of us - always.
She's forever curious about our projects and wanting to know more.
(Holly, have you given her the skinny on planting horseradish yet?)
She is fond of herbs and interested in their purposes beyond being
"flavorings."
The June Farmgirl of the Month is an artist, a dollmaker, and a
talented seamstress whipping up the cutest things - most often for
others to enjoy. (Remember how she sent "custom" Dotee Dolls to make
us smile.) She's much more, in many ways, the June FGOTM is a Woman
of Substance.
She admits to being kind of kooky and it's sure easy to make her
laugh. There's no contest when it comes to who's the sweetest and
nicest woman we could want in our dirt - well, in our garden.
So it is my pleasure to relinquish the apron and hand the hoe to Nancy Witko,aka annielaurel, our June FGOTM!

I am so surprised and truly honored to be named the Farmgirl of the Month. When I read received the news I almost couldn't believe my eyes. I had to call my husband in so he could see for himself. Patty I thank you so very much for all the kind things you say about me. You are a wonderful friend. I have tears in my eyes right now knowing that you have chosen me. I am following in the footsteps of some really fabulous ladies and I will hopefully live up to. I am so excited right now. Wow!
