What a thoughtful gesture-The package arrived just this afternoon while we were sitting outside on our bench soaking up a bit of sunshine. We loved opening this up and showing every sweet item you carefully chose for me. It brought BIG smiles all around-

Thank you Vanessa!! I love all the goodies you sent - it arrived on a very gloomy and lightly snowy day and made me smile! I love blue---and the vintage cookbook "The Joys of Jello" made me laugh out loud-how appropriate. I am a quilter/seamstress and the buttons are gorgeous as well as the printed trim-I know just where I want to use this! And, the tea and the sweet little embellished notebook with pen. Very thoughtful of you and I appreciate it very much....

Thank you Denise! (levisgrammy) I LOVE the bird wind chimes! I couldn't wait to hear it so placed it temporarily in our Whitespire birch tree next to the garden shed-it sounds LOVELY. It's been years since we had a wind chime-and this is just perfect. It was very thoughtful of you to send me such a sweet present-I'm enjoying all the lovely gifts so kindly sent to me as your FGOTM!

Thank you Wanda from South Carolina, for the lovely card and the beautiful quilt labels-I always plan on putting one on my finished quilts but never seem to get around to it. The labels are sweet and I will definitely be using them soon. Thank you again. It was very thoughtful of you. As you can see I have 4 quilts on the very bottom shelf of my quilt cupboard yet to be bound but will have to put those on the back burner for now.
It's so nice hearing from a fellow quilter! I love the fact that you are finishing a quilt created by your mother--I have always picked up random quilt tops to finish some tops dating from the turn of the century-it makes me smile to know all the hard work that they began but somehow with life put aside and that I had the honor of finishing what someone started many years ago. Let me know about your progress on the quilt and I'd love to see a photo when it's completed-it will be a quilt to treasure for sure.

Melody I am so glad you will be able to use the quilt labels, and I love your storage cabinet for your quilts. All quilts are works of art and worthy to be shown even when stored. Just beautiful!!

We arrived very late last night from Mayo, for a short respite after 10 days-and head on back in two weeks for more biopsys which we are not looking forward to as it always causes a horrifying reaction to his pancreas-I'm dreading that as well as Bruce.
