Oh, my! Thank you so much, Andrea, for honoring me in this way. I am speechless and very surprised. I treasure all my farmgirl sisters and have met many lifelong friends since I joined Mary Janes Farm in April 2009.
This year I have been making a dent in some of my UFOs (PhDs - Projects Half Done) and I started a post in the Stitching and Crafting Room thread to help other farmgirls do the same thing. It seems to be working! Many unique and beautiful UFOs have been completed and pictures posted so far this year. We've seen pictures of finished sewing of quilts, mug rugs, tablerunners, towels, and scarves; crocheted animals, pillows, rugs, wreaths, and garlands; knitted socks; a photo book, slow-stitching, and many more. Check it out and let us help you get some UFOs done.
I've hosted many swaps on MJF - sun bonnets, clothespin bags, mini aprons, 10" squares, aprons, table runners, among others - and through them I have met many of you. I am always amazed at the impressive multi-talented farmgirls I've met through the swaps. I joined MJF after meeting a farmgirl on another website where I was swapping 9-patch quilt blocks. We emailed back and forth and she mentioned the Mary Janes Farm site and the many swaps that she participated in there. That intrigued me so I joined, signed up for 9 swaps, and had to keep a schedule just for swaps! That started my 14-year journey (so far) with MJF.
Thank you, again, Andrea, for choosing me MGOTM for June 2023. I hope I can prove worthy of the honor.

Today I got farmgirl mail from Winnie. Thank you so much for the congratulatory gifts. Because June is Milk month, she sent a decorative wooden cow, a jute cow-themed hot pad, a handmade potholder (i love these), and 5 milk cap inserts. I live everything. Thank you so much, Winnie!!
