Well i am honored/humbled to have been nominated by Dawn, thank you for that. Thank you to all for the congrats. I appreciate it all. Work never ends here on our farm in WI. Its a good life, most of the time, lol. We all know the hardships and trials of farming. I have enjoyed chatting with all on MaryJanes forum. I learn something new quite often. thank you

a big shout out thank you to Sara, for the wonderful Rural Route 2 cookbook. A WI cookbook from a town about an hour away from where i live. Tried and True recipes from Down on The Farm. I love it thank you. Will post a picture later. Thank you to everyone!!

My month has come to a close. It was great being named farmgirl of the month. Thank you Dawn. And thanks to all for the well wishes and the gifts i received. It was such a surprise and much appreciated. I will now name the farmgirl of the month for July.........Audra Rose. I searched out someone who has yet to received this honor. She is busy with her own "bit of heaven" in Kentucky. From hanging out clothes, gardening, junk-tiqueing to her green thumb with her beautiful flowers. Congratulation Vanessa. Enjoy being farmgirl of the month.
