Part of the January Craftivism Challenge.
Pillowcase dresses are a great way to use up your stash. You can mix and match fat quarters, leftover yardage, charm squares and jelly roll strips. They are also a great next-step beginner project for when you are ready to move from just straight sewing to learning how to sew on a curve.
Hope you'll join us!

Oh, and I forgot, they are a great project for thrifted/garage sale pillowcases, too!

Thanks, Grace, for all your wonderful comments!
And yes, I love making them! So far, I've done over 50 for Haiti, and I have a whole stack of them sitting here on my dining room table, hoping to get them done so I can move on to the whole stack of Little Boy shorts which go on the blog next weekend for Part 3. My favorite part - you get to play with fabric colors/patterns like you do with a quilt, but without all the work. Way cool! Plus, they are so stinkin cute...
