Tonight was chicken (organic) and noodles over mashed potatoes. A favorite around our house and something I find the grandkids will always eat!

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

I think I'll make Spicy Red Quinoa Jambalaya tonight (leaving out the shrimp due to one dd's allergies). Sides will be organic broccoli and another veggie. Not sure until I get to the store today.

Nicole, I just got a recipe for buttermilk cornbread. Would you care to share yours?

I don't have suggestions for light and quick, other than the tuna melts we made only took about 6 minutes to bake.

You might try searching recipes on Clean Eating too. They have lots of recipes.

Hi Farmgirls!

Busy Friday for me. How about you? I'm making a one skillet family favorite tonight, "One Skillet Macaroni and Beef", made with pasta, beef, onion, and peppers. Tomorrow Audrey and I will make our homemade pizza. We have been doing this together on Friday nights, but the ground beef needs to be eaten first. What's on your weekend menu?

We had a roast the other day so it is Remains of the Day :)

Probably a Beef Pot Pie and a Tossed Salad to go with it :)

Going out with friends tonight for Mexican. Probably grill chicken and burgers out tomorrow night since the weather is so great, putting potato salad, and baked beans with that. I probably need to go get lunch now I am starving.

Had a long day - Farmer's Market, gardening, and other work.

Too tired to cook. Dh drove to town to buy chicken to grill, but when he got there, the coolers in the entire store were not working. We are getting take out subs.

Sorry girls, missed the date yesterday. Some good dinners on here, I see. We had our homemade pizzas last night with tomatoes, and fresh basil and oregano from the garden followed by homemade cherrie pie.

Tonight is my dd's concert at school. Having organic beef hot dogs! Hee Hee. And more pie. Yum.

Took our girl out to eat last night since she was so amazing at her concert and all three of us were together. So tonight's meal is the one from last night. ;)

Teaching a knitting class. Hubby is grilling grass-fed organic burgers on the grill, served on organic wheat buns with lettuce, tomato and onion. On the side is organic baked beans. For dessert organic strawberries sprinkled with a little sugar and a bit of organic half and half. Can't wait until I get home...yummy!!!

I am leaning towards fish and chips, but Ric has to take a power nap before I can ask him. Oh well, gave me time to come in here!

Tonight we had fresh greenbeans, with ham, new potatoes and sliced MJ sourdough bread. Sure doesn't get much better then that.

Tonight is Porcupine Meat Balls, garlic bread and either green beans or shelled peas. Haven't decided yet for sure what to have for the green veggie tonight... I'm thinking green beans sound better with garlic bread. Anyway off to finish dinner!

No idea. I have the sneaking suspicion Ric wants to take me out for dinner--if it won't conflict with the game. Priorities, y'know.

CJ- another yummy sounding dinner.

DH and DD want my chicken fajitas...AGAIN. Seriously, twice in one week. I'm making them to use up the "stuff" we have for them, but after that I want to try some new menus!
