Today is going to be hot, 97 degrees along the coast of Southern California and well above 100 inland. Today is day three of our fall Santa Ana conditions.

It's cool this morning and I woke to an unexpected rain. Seems like we are getting a lot of showers that are not forecasted. It doesn't rain long or hard enough but every drop is welcomed. Cooler days in the 80s for the week.

No work Thursday or Friday due to Hurricane Matthew. When I get home I will pick up stuff in the yard, stash back porch furniture, and put the trash bin in the garage. Gas lines are very long - glad that I filled up yesterday. Luckily after the last strong hurricane we invested in hurricane windows, so at least we don't have to cover the windows, and we'll get natural light.

Indiana is gorgeous! I think this is all of our favorite time of year, the heat has broken and the leaves are just starting to change. Finally you can dry off after a shower and actually remain dry. I'm going camping this weekend to celebrate :)

Our weather was very foggy this morning but now sunny, ok by me.
The South is going to be slammed by Hurrican Matthew. Going to lift up big prayers for all those there.

Cloudy this morning. Weatherman said a cold front is coming in. I think he is wrong, again. Temperature is 81. I cannot wait for cold temperatures.

We cheated death once again, and don't even have to call the insurance company. I spoke to my dad up in western Wisconsin and he said he'd cut the grass as soon as the frost melted.

Rainy, rainy, rainy here today with temps in the low 60s. It has been a little bit windy but so far we have had none of the extremely high winds the forecasters have predicted. I just came in from a long walk and it wasn't bad at all but I did get wet - mostly from kicking piles of leaves off 22 storm drains I passed by in the neighborhood that were partially or fully plugged. Tonight there is another big storm coming through and I have everything ready just in case the power goes out. I'll definitely be busy raking up leaves at work this week.

Hi 70s and windy today in northeast Texas - dropping to 41 tonight - low 50s and windier tomorrow. Low 20s forecasted for next week with slim chance of snow. I'll take the snow - we need the moisture.

For us we looking to get a blizzard late tomorrow afternoon lasting until Friday around 4pm. It is warmer than usual with temps around mid 20's. It lightly snowed today, I guess getting ready for the grand show tomorrow.

It's been snowing hard since 2pm this afternoon. They say about 2 to 3 inches per hour. The winds are strong and they should get up to around 35 mph. The temp is around 29 and the low is to be 26. It has produced some white out conditions so far today. The snow is still falling pretty strong still. The weather report says our storm warning is to last until 1pm tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how much snow has fallen when we get up in the morning.
