We had some high winds a few days ago. Blew down a tree! I hope you don't have anything like that, Betty!

Today started out cold and rainy but it was beautiful out for the evening milking. Not sure what the actual temperature was but a long sleeve t-shirt was just right :) It's so nice to leave the coat in the house!

Hey back at ya, Jokamartel. Yes, we are neighbors. Small world isn't it?

Temp has risen from 39 to 59 and the sun is shining. I'm getting anxious to get my plants out of the house and into the garden. Flowers are blooming. Tomorrow is supposed to be really warm and I'm looking forward to it.

Well, Treelady's photo is just about what my place looks like today. Woke up to a couple of inches of snow covering everything and a raging blizzard. If I remember correctly from my Sunday School days, today is Palm Sunday. I don't think the palms would appreciate this morning's weather.

Well Spring doesn't come very early here. We have had lots of rain and last couple of days lots of wind. Dossn't stay very warm for more than a day and then cold and rain again.

It's windy in Ohio also, but it's finally warming up! 70's today then 80's the rest of the week.

After a very chilly, windy and wet spring here in the Chicagoland area we have a heatwave of 90's this week. I am definitely not ready for this warm weather. Fortunately we should get back to the mid 60's and hopefully ease into summer temps. Our drying winds and high temps call for me to go out and water my perennials this morning. I love working in the yard but not when it is this hot!

Hahahahaha, but then you "could" live in the Pacific Northwest. Here in northern Idaho, our nighttime temps are still in the 20's and while we may see patches of blue sky and sunshine intermittently, we have had snow flurries off and on all this week. Mother Nature is really ticked off at us this year.

Jean, I agree! I seriously have no clue how our weather will be from day to day. It's all over the place. One day it's nice and warm and then the next it's cold and snowing. All in the same week.

To be honest with you I prefer it not to get any warmer than 68 and I do love the Pacific NW!

Well, it's flooding again down here in tropical Queensland, Australia. Sadly, some towns that were affected by the floods in March have been hit hard again. Rainfalls of up to 200-300 mm in 24 hours. Lots of roads still closed due to flooding & houses inundated with water. We're staying with my parents on the farm at the moment & Dad is trying to get the sunflower harvest finished. The ground is far too boggy to get in with the combine at the moment though. On a positive note - every is looking very lush & green right now.

Oh no Cindy the flooding is terrible! Our rain stopped yesterday after about a week but more is coming. Today was beautiful though in the upper 60’s with a bit of wind. We have only lived in this house and area only a month so it is all new to us!

We had a grey to sunny day today. I hope it clears because there is supposed to be a Super flower moon tonight.
I hope I get to see it!

Tomorrow I hope is going to be nice because I have a Post op in Redding tomorrow morning it’s supposed to be hot there tomorrow.
We shall see!

Have a good evening!

Hugs and love

Darlene

Today, in way Upstate New York on the Canadian border, it's a cloudy blustery day. A tad chilly from last week where we were in the 80's.

Hi Debbie - Where in Oregon have you moved to? My husband and I are also in the process of moving to Oregon (from Australia). Most of my husband's family are scattered around Eastern WA and Oregon, so we will be reacquainting with them after living in Australia for the past 10 years. I'm glad to hear that the weather is improving. I hope you're settling in to your new place - very exciting exploring a new area.

Hi Cindy, we moved to the Southern Coast of Oregon to Coos Bay. We love it here! It is quite a change in the weather for us as we moved from Colorado to Oregon almost 2 years ago now. But, it was coming home for me as I lived in North Oregon as a child.
Good Luck with your move, let me know where you land.

Debbie
