1. Each person will make 8 1/2" muslin squares ( unbleached)(finished size -- 8") we are using this size so if you had entered the other swap these blocks will work with those to make a larger quilt.
2. Once everyone signs up, I'll post the number of squares you'll need to complete (we're adding 1 so that we can make a quilt for MaryJane)
3. Each square is to have your real name and your Farmgirl name embroidered on it. You can add something else if you want, but you don't have to. I've seen squares with a small flower,state outline, animals,etc, or a embroidered border around the name, or a scripture, etc. Again, anything other than your real name and Farmgirl name is purely optional.
4. All squares will be sent to me. I'll separate them out so everyone gets one each of all the squares, and then I'll send them out to everyone who participated. You will only need to pay the postage to send your squares to me. I'll take care of the postage to send them back out.
5. No pattern will be used. Just cut the muslin 8 1/2" square and then embroider your name and FarmGirl name, as well as anything else you want to add. You could even applique something to your square if you wanted. The only "requirement" is the embroidered names. AFter that, it's up to you to add nothing or something.
6. Please wash your material first to get all the sizing, etc. out.
Deadline for sign-ups by emailing me or posting here is the end of the day on the last day of Aug . I will post here on September first how many squares you'll need to make.
Deadline for getting the squares in the mail to me: Dec 1 just in time for Christmas fun and crazyness
My deadline for getting them back to you: within 7 days of receiving all the blocks

For any one that was in the previous exchange you are welcome to join this one. Just let me know you where in the last one. As you won't make as many blocks for this exchange. meaning minus the one for yourself and minus any other people that join from the previous post as they will already have them from you. You would only be making for the new people ( the ones you don't have). As I was not in the last one I don't know who every one is so please let me know. I hope this makes it easier for those who have already done a swap to add more blocks to what you already have no repeating of people.

this is more a note to myself to know who makes less as you won't have to make one for yourself or any one else that joins from the first group as you already have those people or will soon. Unless you want to of course that is fine too.

Hi Sunshine,
I have just returned from the local quilt shop with my fabric. I can't wait to get started! I think I had better start soon as the last time I posted a parcel to my sister-in-law in New York, it took nearly four weeks. Just a question, would it matter if all my blocks weren't exactly the same, ie. I would like to do some scrap applique on mine so the colours may not be the same for each. Same design though.
Looking forward to seeing some photos from the first signature quilt group!

here are the totals
If you where in the first swap you can make one for evey one or you can just make them for the new people ( you will still make one for MJ) if you where not in the first swap you make them for every one
1. Sunshine (was in the first group) = make 8 or 6 your choice
2. Berries = make 8
