Tina, Thanks for the link! This definitely is a place that I plan to visit on a Saturday or Sunday road trip! It will be soon, too! Micanopy is a wonderful little town!

Micanopy is just a few miles south of Gainesville, where I live and I have had the privilege of visiting this place many times. They make delicious bread which is baked out back in a hand crafted brick oven several times a week. They also make the most delicious bakery treats, quiche, and empanadas for purchase. Out back are just some tables and chairs and it is always fun to sit out there and enjoy a coffee and maybe a bakery item. It is a one of a kind place with very high quality in what is sold. They also sell local items like honey, jelly, and handmade soap. The town of Micanopy is also fun it you like to ramble through antique shops. In the fall, they have a huge Fall festival with many vendors, music, food and all sorts of fun. It is a two day event that is quite popular down here. Although I have not ever attended, I hear they have a great small town Fourth of July parade as well.

I love rambling through antique shops and thrift stores. I will have to look up their Fall fest and see if I can make it. Thanks for sharing this info. Winnie.
