If you're anything like me, you might need a little reminder sometimes that you can't do everything on your own. You might actually need a little help from up above and it's ok to ask for help!!

Hello ladies! I just found this group thread and I'm thrilled! Are there any Pentecostal Farmgirls here? With everything that's been going on in our country the past 3 years I've really come back home to my spiritual roots. God's been movin and shakin me!
I recently found a great devotional book while in the airport when going to visit my son. It's called "Daily Strength for Women" a 365 day devotional. I've found with everything we are seeing in the world it's important to keep our eyes on Jesus just a Peter had to when walking on the water to Jesus! It's a big challenge and recently hard to shut off my mind to sleep.
In today's devotional it was so on point! "Psalm 4:8 "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Have a safe and restful weekend fellow Farmgirls. May your days be blessed.

This would be a good verse to memorize and repeat to myself over and over at night when I’m trying to turn my brain off and sleep.

Sounds like we could all mediate on that verse! That’s my problem. It’s like I get in bed and my brain decides it needs to open 167 tabs and rethink ever awkward conversation I’ve ever had! Lol :)

Just wanted to share this thought today...
So often, we know that God has led us on a certain path, but much of the time where it is leading is not entirely clear.
And then one day someone with a need crosses your path and you suddenly understand why you needed to make space in your life. Or perhaps a new career opportunity opens at a time when you were in just the right place to pursue it; or after a period of uncertainty about where you should live, you are provided for in an amazing way.
It seems at the time that God has turned up, but in fact God was there before you. And it is God’s Spirit who has been planting these thoughts, inclinations and desires within you, preparing you for that day when God’s plan is revealed.
