I'm a Tupperware Consultant. I love the the product and the message that anyone can do it.

I am a legal technologist by day and also own an online quilt shop that I run out of my basement. We carry all kinds of fabric, patterns, supplies, kit and more! I love teaching sewing/quilting skills to new quilters and hope to have my own "real" shop soon!

I share essential oils! www.thurman.myoilproducts.com/ for a free eBook :)

And I just started representing a natural-based cosmetics company www.youniqueproducts.com/NaT

I'm all about lowering the toxic load on our bodies, from house cleaning to the makeup we wear! It all adds up, and I've seen wonderful results in my energy and health from eliminating harmful chemicals from my life!

Sitting here eating my lunch and reading what everyone is up to! It's wonderful to read how everyone loves their work.

I own a quilt shoppe called Fibre Junction in Rouses Point, NY (way northeast). I specialize in 19 century reproductions, folk art/primitive and batik cotton fabrics as well as felted wool for penny rugs. I'm in my 5th year and I just love it. I run a lot of historical clubs where I talk about the history of women via the needle and thread, as well as teach quilting classes. It sure keeps me out of trouble! ;o)

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your business.

Yours in Fibre,

Carole

I am a Couturier by degree and training. I designed and made wedding gowns and formals for brides from HI to NY and All the way to England and Germany. Now with four kids and a husband I have taken my career in a different more manageable direction. Armed with my collection of antique and vintage textiles, I make beautiful and everyday useful items that I sell in two different Etsy shops. I also help my husband manage his 60 acre tree farm, my two vegetable gardens, 60 chickens, and four beautiful children.
I also take orders for breads and pastries that I make in my kitchen.
All in all I stay pretty busy.

During my day job, I am a secretary. In my spare time, my handsome & charming and I go to yard sales and re-sell unique items on Ebay. I also haunt yard sales and Goodwill and sell men's (and sometimes ladies') gently worn tropical shirts on Ebay as vtropicshirts764. I especially look for <ahem> sizes for the larger man. The shirts are hand-washed, air dried, ironed, and photographed in by back porch.

I listed several shirts early in January, and people have been buying. I guess they are looking forward to summer!

I make pretty much anything I can get my hands on... here are a few:

- jewelry
- crochet
- I'm learning to knit
- beaded bobby pins
- pet toys
- pet leashes
- Currently working on a floor pouf
- handmade stationery with hand-drawn stickers
- paper coasters
- pet furniture (using paper)

I'm currently working on a floor pouf and a WIP bag, both of which are crocheted. In the meantime, I'm looking into collecting wooden pallets and some tools. I want to build my own furniture. If that goes well, I hope to sell some furniture pieces. My prayer is that the pieces I sell will bring in enough cash that I can make more pieces to donate to the Savlation Army family store.

I'm also gardening, starting this year. The plan is to use the things we harvest, and anything we don't use will be sold at a farmer's market for now. Later on, we'd really like to have an actual farm, and maybe create a market of our own.

Hello everyone! I run an antique business with my two sisters, and also make custom quilts, lamps, and other repurposed items upon request. Am pursuing certification as an antiques appraiser, and just love this life I'm creating. My husband also owns his own business, and I work full time with a local hospice organization, directing the traffic of selflessness (read: volunteer services manager). Life is full and beloved...:)

If the only prayer you say in your entire life is "thank you", that would suffice.

I write little encouraging notes and send them by snail mail. I also crochet, mainly hats. The writing brings me the most joy though, people need a little bit of cheering. :)

I like doing all sorts of handwork and designed quilt patterns for publication in the 1980s and '90s as well as having a mail order pattern business during that same time.

Now I have an online business, Wanda Sturrock Consulting. I help small businesses improve the content performance and usability of their websites.

www.wandasturrock.com

The website also contains my blog, The Simply Lived Life, which is a little bit life and a little bit small business. : )

I have two! One is Thrive Life freeze dried foods and emergency preparedness supplies...love this company because I am starting a food storage for my family of 8 and their foods stay fresh for 25 yrs. on average, unopened. I also use their foods for daily cooking for my family...so nice to have these foods on hand as it saves time and I'm able to prepare quick healthy meals all the time now. It has made my life so much easier.

Our other business is our little farm store where we make natural beeswax lip balms and body butters, as well as offer handmade and vintage goods.

I taught school for thirty years. Then I babysat two precious little GRANDDAUGHTERS. Next I started a Mother's day out program for a local church and grew it into a large daycare, preschool and after school care facility. Next in 2009 I had cancer. That took a year. Since then I have been substituting at two small country schools and starting an Etsy shop. I have written, illustrated and published, on Amazon, three books for young children. I also have some patterns for sale on Craftsy. They are Stick Farm animals.

I just quit my job and jumped in with both feet for my new business. I am offering grief support for people who are mourning the death of their companion animals.
I also do aromatherapy and I am training to be a certified EFT practitioner.

An update on my post. I am not a website consultant anymore and am in the process of changing my website from business to author. Try as I might I could not leave my love for writing behind, and my first manuscript just went to the publisher. :)

So many talented ladies on here! I create and sell breastmilk jewelry and memory jewelry as a business and dabble with baking, gardening, and sewing little trinkets, but I just give those away right now ;)
