What fun we had Wednesday! The terrariums are beautiful. Mine is sitting on my home office desk. Where are all of yours sitting? Great night. Good ideas for fun things to do in the future.

What a great time we had Saturday. Made my pumpkin cake, and thanks to Ally for her scrumptious Shoo Fly Pie! Our pumpkin potpourri pots came out so cute! Next month, date to be announced, Sewing Day with Barb! We will do a beginner quilt project, a table runner!

What a great time we had last Saturday with quilt making with Barb! She was a fabulous teacher! So much fun (and I am now working on my third table runner as we speak!)

Our December Holiday party was a blast!
Now for our first Get Together for 2014. Downton Abbey themed tea. 2:00 at Lady Nicole's. Saturday the 15th of February. Bring your favorite teacup, a finger food to share if you like, and dress in period dress from 1912 - 20's!

The weather held out, and our Downton Abbey tea was a fun afternoon! We all dressed up, had tea time treats (English, Italian, and Portuguese, it was quite international and very yummy), watched the Pilot episode of Downton Abbey on DVD, and made bath sachets using organic lavender, epsom salt and cotton bags.
Next: A day away to Comstock and Ferre Seeds, Date TBA.

It was a really fun trip! I had never been to Wethersfield and I can't wait to go back and check out the rest of the quaint Main Street area. I bought some purslane seeds and I hope they will grow successfully in a pot on my deck. Also going to try growing some catgrass for my kitty!
