I hate to say it, but I saw a few of those glass pieces, that go under those canning lids, at the thrift store. I didn't buy them, and when I went back, they were gone. They intrigued me. Now I know why. I bet you could search antique stores too.

Here is the inside pocket of the travel journal:

I used a portion of a ticket jacket to make a pocket, and the background is scrap wallpaper. I'm using wallpaper for the inside back pocket page, and then maps for the backside.

I made a "map" bookmark using cereal box cardboard too.

Here is my latest flower. I didn't think it up but love them. I still have to crochet a base for a pin. I'm going to make them into pins and sell them on my Artfire store.

Hi Girls, I did finish my Kitchen curtains today, I know it is sunday, my husband was sick and I had to be quiet and so I went in the sewing room and finished them. He had painted my sewing room a few weeks ago and the gingham curtains were given to me but had to be taken apart so I could redo them for my use, They look good if I do say so myself. My kitchen is yellow and the curtains are yellow check gingham. Also covered my antique wooden Ironing board. I had to get the one that sticks down from Nancy's notion. The ones from Wal-mart would'nt work. It turned out great. farmsister #1020 Needy

Packing for a "glamping" trip this week with my daughter. I leave O-DARK-30 on Weds. morning to meet her near Phoenix for the rest of the week. YEE-HAW!!!!

But, I'm also doing a big of "cutesifying" of a train case I bought from "katmom" . . . just getting started by decoupaging some lace on it. More work to come later . . but I'm using it on this trip, along with some others I've been fortunate enough to have found!

I started making some lace fingerless gloves to dress up my outfit, but don't like how they are turning out so think they will be "frogged" and made into cuffs instead.

A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee....

Love the crocheted flowers. Beautiful!

Have fun CJ! I hope to find a "train" case for myself some day.

Today, I am working like a mad woman (again) on Christmas ornaments and making another daughter a journal using sheet music

The purple music note on the front cover is crocheted. I'll have more photos on my SCRAP blog in a day or two also.

Judy...go back into allpoeplequilt.com and type in the search box yoyo easter egg
It will bring up the project. Don't click on each individual page to print pattern
instead, look where it says download project and download it to your computer to save
it. Then when your computer asks if you want to open the download, click on open...
then print the entire project. I did it both ways...and the individual pages were not
complete in their explanation...so use the download project alternative and you will
get all your information. There is a page that shows 3 different size circles for you
to make your own cardboard template from for this project. Just looking at it...I personally
would use Pattern B. If you need more help feel free to email me.

I also usually hostess the Heart Shaped YoYo Swap on MJF, (though one of my gals helped
me out and gave me a break this round #6) Another gal has asked if she could Hostess
Round #7 which will be coming up soon. So go to the Swaps Page and look for the Heart Shaped
YoYo Thread #6 and come check us out. We are always looking for new gals to join. It is so
much fun! And so very addicting.

Also, if you click onto my Blog Site...I have a step by step tuetorial on how to make heart shaped
yoyos.

Blessings,
Peggy

Today, I continue to play around crafting with playing cards - creating a possible Christmas ornament to add to my gift boxes this coming Christmas.

First....chores must be finished.
