Adorable Phyllis!

Here was my project on this rainy day. I made a bonnet for my little boy. I love to have him outside with me while I garden, but the sun is too much for his delicate skin.

I discovered a bretheran fabric store and I am officially addicted.

Back to the sewing machine and cranking out "Farm Fresh Aprons".
Finished an order for 9 for one customer today and 2 orders of one for two other customers.
These pics are "samples" of some of just a few of them.

This is actually 2 different aprons, similar style.

Good Morning Farmgirls! I have not been able to check this thread in a long time due to a family member's illness, a sewing class I was taking in NYC at FIT, and the launch of my new business CREATIVE LIVING~Vintage Home, but I am always inspired when I do check back. You are all so creative and inspiring. I love this thread! Keep up the good work. Dianne in the Hudson Valley

I finally got back to the "wristers" I started for myself; I actually like how they are turning out now.

PeggyAnn, I've seen it called both cross stitch embroidery and chicken scratch. I think "chicken scratch" does sound more fun.

What a cute baby outfit! You are so talented.

I'll try to get the photo loaded of my other hot pad. I am a bit behind in cleaning. Now that the temperatures are colder, I can't dry as much laundry outside as I typically do.

Have a blessed day!

I'm working on sewing up some of my little literature quotation pillows-I love Jane Austen, so her quotes often find their way to one of my pillows. Then, I'll be sewing some burlap style throw pillows-all for my little etsy shop.

The quilt I'm putting together for my son is also sitting in the corner calling me!!

I had to run my 18 yo to the doctor and she's really sick. I won't have time to go take a photo and load it tonight. It's 4:49pm here and I have both clotheslines full of laundry yet......long day here today. I'll try again tomorrow. :)

I "finally" finished a mountain man shirt for my hubbie last night. Just had to sew the buttons on. Took me forever to get to that. What's up with that? Do any of you almost finish a project and then put it down for months.

I only picked this one up because we are going to the Fort Buenoventura Rendezvous over Easter weekend and the DH was giving me "the" look. *LOL*

Sherone ~ I've made many rendezvous shirts and found that, if you don't stick to them 'til they're finished, they probably never will get done. Some of those patterns are a bit confusing too and take a little tweaking, don't you think?
