I have been working on this cat teacup for charity. Still have quite a bit of progress to go! Later on the charity group will combine my cat teacup with other teacup designs into a quilt.

Valerie, Your cat teacup is adorable! Can you photograph the entire quilt when it's finished. I would love to see it. Dianne in the Hudson Valley

I just finished up some potholders for a wedding gift. They were pretty easy to make all of the way up to the point where I added the binding. Then it got kind of tricky. I had the potholder and binding all pinned up with pins sticking out in all directions sitting on the kitchen breakfast bar one day, and my husband moved it out of the way by pushing it with a ceramic coaster, saying something about a porcupine.

Paula I love the potholder's you made! Dianne the quilt is put together by a charity that I work with. I am still working on my cross stitch item for the quilt. Here is their website, which shows other quilts that have been completed by the charity group. http://worldofcharitystitching.blogspot.com/ Some of us stitch and others quilt (some do both as well).

Here is another update on the cat teacup, I am getting to the end of the bottom of the teacup. Next then will be the hat and the ears.

Love the potholders and the tea cup too. I made pot holders for my DIL's Christmas present - to go with the apron I made her. Working on MJ badges too

Ladies, you are all so talented and inspiring. I just love all the work you are doing - beautiful. Makes me want to dust off my sewing machine and get busy doing something for gifts or for family or even just for me. It's such a pleasure seeing what everyone is working on.

Paula, I love the pot holder you made. Do you have a pattern or do you sell them ready made? I love to have some.

Hi Susan,

I found this pattern on a website that has a bunch of free potholder patterns:
http://tipnut.com/potholder-patterns/

If you don't want to make your own, let me know and I'll whip up some for you! I use the Insul Bright inside, so they are safely insulated from the heat.

Hi Paula, thank you for the website information. I will definately make some of these as I'm always getting my potholders "messy" and have to replace them. I have LOTS of scraps so this is a good way to use them up. Thank you so much.

OK, I'm ready-Let's go.

This is my new commuter project...what I work on while my husband drives us in to work (I drive us home). This is one of many more...the final project will be a vest. It is a join-as-you-go project, which will be something a little different for me.

I'm working on Barbie clothes. Actually, clothes for Monster High dolls.
Pretty good for someone without a sense of fashion and beginner sewing talents, eh?
I finally got brave enough to try sewing for the dolls after stairing at them on my desk fora few weeks.
Smiles!

Made those same kitchen towels to give as Xmas gifts to my step daughters and daughter. Make them in matching colors/themes for each of their kitchens. Also gave the individual hot pads and dish towels to go with the others so they had a complete set. None of them are very crafty - actually not crafty at all - so they were blown away when I told them how I made them. Super easy. Great gifts when you're in a hurry. Made all of them some, but didn't make me any!! Will have to rectify that real soon.
Cherime, great job there! You are too, too talented. Do you "hire out" and travel?? LOL. Anyway, awsome job.
