So many beautiful things in here. I love to make things too, but lately my projects are leaning more towards Household Management. Trying to get organized- getting ready to move.

I love the bags and hangings. They are so colorful and pretty. I am making some aprons for a swap right now and to send to a friend. Also working on some small quilts for the local animal shelter for the animal cages.

Today I am going to tackle my scrap bin and ugly fabric. I have been reading Bonnie Hunter's blog and she has inspired me to use up my scraps. I have always loved scrappy quilt. So I am cutting fabric in strips - 1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3.5 inches. She also say's that even the "ugliest" or "why did I buy that fabric?" looks different when cut small. I do have some of the "why fabric" doesn't everyone? I guess that this could also go in the cleaning up section...LOL Barbara P.S. I love look at everyone's pictures!! Great job everyone!

Don't forget to laugh!

I have been making little chicken pinkeeps recently and selling them at the Farmers Market!

I also invite everyone to check out DH's artwork that I posted about on my blog. I think he's pretty good! :)

I'm learning about junk art journaling and thinking about how I can use this type of thing in my daily devotional. It's cool that you can have writing and goodies stuck on the same page. Some people even sew on the pages! Maybe this will motivate me to actually write in the thing!

Just finished some cloth napkins for the kitchen. Working slowly on a Dear Jane quilt (a little at a time) and in the evenings embroidering some new dishtowels.

Today I spent quite a while sewing merit badges on my two 14 year old son's boy scout sashes. Glad that is done! I am knitting on a prayer shawl...simple browns simple pattern...triangle and warm.

I finally got my dish drainer quilt made! It took a trip to Joann's in Tucson for the fusible quilt batting. Ah, the perils of small town living! It is chickens on one side and sunflowers on the other.

P.S. Check my blog for pictures of all my "Farmgirl" Kitchen Accessories!

Joanna...very cute Chenille Robe and Gown. The gown is my favorite. Nice Job!

I have been busy knitting washclothes, making different kinds of Scrubbies. I make two kinds of dish scrubbies
and then the puff ball...Bath/Body Scrubby.

I have also been hand stitching lots of Heart Shaped Yoyo's for a swap.

And like Dianne said...lots of gardening and enjoying the outdoors.

blessings,
peggy
