Grace: beautiful quilt top. So many options for backing and binding.

Sherone: Cute towel apron. Should do well at the farm stand.

Love the quilt top, Grace. Has such a cheery Christmas vibe. Hopefully t won’t be UFO for long and you can have it ready for Christmas!

Made some masks today. I didn't get pictures of my hubby's but I did get a picture of the 3 I made for me. This was such an easy pattern. It was from Bluprint.com

Love all you girls do. So wonderful and inspiring---but since I am an old drudge---I am out staining a small side deck---enjoying the rare sunshine and listening to the birds and creek. Also washed and hung clothes out---my dryer is broke so much cat hair on the clothes. LOL> life in the holler do get tedious---but LIFE IS GOOD HERE> more power to us hillbilly wierdos---LOL. Wish I was sewing too---but much work for the wicked as they say.LOL

Barbara, We are having nice weather here also. Unfortunately, I am not outside working today, but my hubby is. He has been making an arbor for my blackberries.

I'm just knitting some dish cloths as mine are getting pretty nasty.

Yes, I love using different fabrics. I was going through more fabric this morning but I think 3 is enough for now.

I wish I could sew like you all. I need to take my daughter to the doctors on Thursday and wish I had a mask her size. I may need to ask around and see if anyone has anymore made for little ones. The one girl I was following has already sold out of everything. Super crazy.

Krista, I have one on my Etsy store, but it's an adult size. I can sew one up for her if you would like. I would charge $5 plus shipping. The $5 would be donated to our local Senior Center for their home delivered meals program. Let me know if you want me to sew one up.

Sherone, I am just seeing this. Her appointment is tomorrow so there isn’t anyway I could get it in time. I should have said something sooner. I appreciate your help though. I’m thinking of just using a bandanna. During this pandemic we haven’t taken our kids anywhere. That’s why I haven’t thought about getting them one.

UFO #7 finally done!. It took two weeks to finish. The sewing room is also the cat infirmary and Scooter was recuperating from his arrow incident surgery. Cats always want to help making quilts. One of my Mother's favorite sayings was "It's the help that slows me down".
This is a churndash pattern.

Oh My Stars!.. Judith your quilt is lovely!
I have not tried the Churndash block yet...

I have been puttering in my sewing room cutting and sewing, but mine are small quilt projects,, I wish I were brave enough to take on the challenge of a bed sized quilt....

Put enough small quilt projects together to make a bed-sized quilt. I know you can do it.

Grace -- Churndash is an easy block. Mine were pieced with my hand crank machine in our trailer up in the hills; a few each time we were up there. They add up quickly. I've seen your blocks -- I know you can do it!

Judith, that quilt is beautiful! And I agree. Grace, you could definitely make a bed size quilt. You have already made a couple squares already! You would have one completed in no time.

I finally received the last of my supplies yesterday for the mother’s day gifts I’m making. Today will be busy with sanding the wood and painting it. Tomorrow I will be putting on the vinyl and eye hooks. Just in time for Sunday.

Krista -- what a wonderful present for your mother.

Grace -- my pattern from Mary Mulari arrived so I spent part of Mothers Day making myself a new apron. I love it!.

I finished the last little quilt project for my sewing group. Scooter wanted to be in the picture; I'm afraid he thinks it is his quilt.

Krista - I love your gift for your Mom. I know exactly why she liked it so much. I was just saying the other day while holding my two month old granddaughter that I didn't think that could love a child as much as I loved my own children. I was so wrong. My grandkids fit into my heart just fine.

Judith - Both of those quilts are to die for. I want to grow up to be just like you. However, they pale in comparison to the sweet face of that Scooter kitty. You should have him pose with all your creations. (I adore quilts and cats)

Grace - I forgot to take pictures all the time. It's a sign of a busy mind. Paint us a picture of your project with your words. It's a forum....we love words here.

Still making masks here. I've been making some for my hairdresser and the gals in her shop. I'm also making them for my Etsy shop. Today, I am going to cut out the material for a set of kitchen towels I am making for my SIL's hunting camper. He has requested camo material. This should be fun. I will try to remember to post pictures, Grace.
