Thank you Judith. When the package showed up on her porch 6 states away, I got a email notice and called her to tell her she had a package on her porch. She was blown away. Made me feel good.

I worry about my niece being a nurse right now. It's a very scary time.

Yes driftwood is fun in many crafts. Never thought of using them for art quilts. What a wonderful idea.

Thank you Grace. It has been something of a year and a half for me. With no end in sight so I need to put on my big girl panties and pull up my boots and get back in the game. You stay well and safe also.

Marie, Love those little boxes. Are they covered in fabric or did you find those patterns in card stock? Either way, awesome.

Denise, thank you. Her poor ears where really breaking down. At least now she can hook her masks to her hats.

Everyone stay well and safe in this turbulent time.

I use any kind of card stock. I never buy any materials. I just use whatever I find or anything that comes in the mail with an interesting print. It ticks all these boxes: cheap, meditative, surprising.

Pretty little boxes; did you use greeting cards? Seems like a great idea.

Yes, greeting cards, note cards, advertising, book covers, calendar covers . . . Anything that can be folded and will hold it's shape. I've even used business cards which make boxes about the size of a thumbnail.

Wow, Marie I wish you could do a tutorial for making them. Do you use scrapbook paper or is that too flimsy to hold up? What do you use the boxes for?

Marie, those boxes are so neat! Definitely agree with Denise! We need a video to learn how to make some! They would make good boxes for tiny presents.

Well now I will HAVE to fix my camera. LOL I could do a tutorial I guess. I would use at least 20 lb paper. Anything else just would not hold up. I use the boxes to give away small found items such as beads or pieces of broken toys or small bones or rocks just . . . because, I don't know. Lowell uses them for pill boxes. They are good for small presents and sometimes I just give them away empty because someone likes the design.

Marie,, what cute boxes... the tiny boxes could be used for tiny gifts.. or maybe even put wee little notes of Joy or Encouragement or thoughts of wisdom in them to give..

Finished this little cutie for my Etsy shop. My daughter is going to be selling these towels in her farmstand and the farm. She has ordered 24 of them. Between that order and filling up my Etsy shop, sewing for my Rendezvous shop, sewing masks, and trying to make things for my grandkids, my sewing machine is just whirring!

Sherone, that is so cute! How does it stay on? Does it have a button in the back? Good luck with all your sales. They are super cute, you shouldn’t have a hard time with them selling. You have been very busy!

We finally put up the swing set for our kids outside, so we have been out there a lot. My current project is to complicated to pack outside to work on while the kids play so I’m not getting as much crafting done. But I do have some wood project ideas I want to make for Mother’s Day!

Worked on quilt blocks...

I have had this fabric for several years.. it's by artist Monica Solario(not sure I spelled the last name correct)..
It is actually a Christmas print... complete with Gnomes...
I barely had enough red fabric to frame the squares...
now to put it into the UFO pile until I can find the perfect backing fabric and Bias tape...

Nice -- bright and colorful. Can you make a pieced backing? I've been doing that a lot lately to avoid going out and it helps use up all the remnants and scraps.
