Grace, I agree lol! She is starting to look less and less like Dumbo! It’s amazing how fast she has grown! I am thinking of finding a puppy paw print fabric and making her a blanket of her own.

I’ve been working on face masks for the family and friends. These were for my son and his family - I used fabric with Star Wars, minions, old cars, colorful fish, and Hasbro, and one with chickens for my DIL.

The music one is just one I’ve made for Ed’s son’s family.

I've made some masks using 10 x 6 inch pieces of batik fabric as it has a tighter weave and fused wonderunder between that and white fabric. No pleats, just inserted 9 inch pieces of elastic in each of the side hems. Fast to make -- takes about 15-20 minutes. CDC has the basic pattern.

I've found that the 6-7" elastic works for us; 9" elastic won't stay on our ears and gaps too much. I've used several different configurations of fabrics and elastic. Have another version I'm going to make today. My problem is I am running out of elastic and since we aren't going out to WalMart or grocery store except every 10-14 days, I can't get any more for a while. My husband is a nurse (retired now) and he prefers ties instead of elastic because he can adjust the fit better. So I will be making more but with ties.

Linda, your masks look great. That’s so sweet of you to make your family masks.

Winnie, that’s a super cute hat! Definitely reminds me of Easter! I can’t believe Easter is already this weekend. This year is flying by already.

Yesterday I started working on some Easter block decorations. There was to many different parts that I didn’t finish. I got up this morning and added another layer of white paint. It’s looking like it will need another layer. For some reason my paint isn’t covering like I want it too. So in between painting layers I will work on some crochet.

I agree,, 6-7" elastic works best...
I make the accordion folded masks...
and it is a great way to use up fabric scraps...
I leave an opening on top, to slip in a piece of pipe cleaner (for over the nose)... and the stitch
all around the pipe cleaner...

Beautiful table topper, Grace! And your owl is adorable!! I just showed it to Everleigh and she was excited. She says she likes the eyes lol. Love your PHD. I would say I have one of those too lol. I did get another bookmark made for one of my friends for her birthday. I will be getting it mailed out to her when ever I head to the post office next. I also started making a crochet scrunchie but didn’t get very far. I feel like I am all over the place with my crafting right now.

Love the hat Winnie!!

Grace - do you sew all the yo-yo's together by hand? Love the owl!! I think one in purple would look even better LOL!!

Krista - that bookmark turned out great! I have some books for doilies but I have a very hard time with the crochet thread.

My crafting is all over the place too. I have fabric and patterns all over, a shawl started (crochet) - so what do I do....
make another mess LOL!!
The picture uploader isn't working at the moment and I don't want to loose this post so I'll submit it and try the picture again in a bit.

Heather,, are those 'hexis'??

yes, I sew all my yoyos and then hand stitch them together to make my topper...

like how it was so lose and floppy so I secured the layers with a bit of glue as well. I did sew the Owl together but I didn't ;

Oh Grace! You are so sweet! You didn’t have to send one to Everleigh!

Heather, I agree with you. Crocheting with thread is actually difficult. It’s small for my hands and starts to hurt them after awhile, but I love the look it creates.

I had a very productive weekend and I’m starting to feel better about my projects lol. I finished 3 projects and started on 3 more UFOs! Making progress lol!

Love the bunnies Krista!! They're super cute!! The blanket just doesn't look the same without that cute puppy of yours using it LOL!!

Grace - I can't believe those yo yo's are all hand stitched together! What a job that must have been but it sure looks nice. Yup, those are hexies but I have no idea what I'm doing with them. I've never used them before. I had them all arranged to make some book marks but after I sewed one I decided not to make any more. It just didn't turn out like I thought it would. I've pinned lots of ideas just not sure how to go about it. Maybe I'll have a little time tomorrow to youtube some ideas. Any suggestions for something easy?

Krista,, Miss Everleigh's Owl is on it's way... I am glad I was able to make one for her...

Thank you Heather!

Grace, you seriously made my little Everleighs day! Her owl came today and since it was wrapped all pretty I told her it was a birthday present since her birthday is on Saturday! She was very excited and has carried it around all day. You truly are a blessing! Thank you for the bunny too. You do amazing work!

Yesterday was very eventful for me lol! Everleigh has officially decided she no longer wants to stay in her crib and will climb out numerous times during nap and bedtime. So I grabbed an old t shirt of my husband's and made her a toddler size sleep sack. I have NEVER made anything like this before. Sewing is hard and I made so many mistakes lol. You sewers are very talented. Needless to say she wasnt thrilled but I'm happy cause she never climbed out!

I also decided that since I dug out the sewing machine I would finish her blanket that has been pinned and cut for 2 years. That turned out much better!

I finally completed 2 UFOs.... took me long enough.

More masks finished today. I have made masks for everyone in my family and now my mom has me making them for her friends in her retirement community.

Thank you Grace! I really want to get caught up on my UFOs this year. I’m running out of room to store them lol!

Great job Julie! That is so very sweet of you. It’s amazing how many masks have been made so far.

I have a different problem. When I go to this thread, I am placed on page one with nothing else showing. I have to click and the pages drop down and scroll down to the last page to see anything.
