You all have made beautiful things.
Winnie, your kitchen is so sweet and I like the brick. Always makes things cozy!

The quilt is gorgeous Heather, and your towels are great Grace! Love the scoodie.

Krista,

I am mailing my heart package tomorrow. It doesn't have that far to go to Florida. I wanted it to arrive in February. This month is all but gone!

There is a little place in a little town not too far from here that we purchase cornmeal and grits called, Nora Mill Granary, Inc. The gristmill was established in 1876 and still uses the 1500 lb.French Burr Stones to grind their products. Here in the south many of us eat a lot of cornbread and grits. Using fresh cornmeal makes so much of a difference in taste and texture. I plan on making polenta very soon. Just sharing some history before showing my envelope pillow cover project I sewed last night with the cornmeal/grit bags. For the back I used salvaged bed skirt material I had purchased a few years ago and disassembled for some future use.

Krista - your hats are super cute. I can't believe your little girl is so big already!!

Winnie - love your kitchen. I would never even think to use brick wallpaper but it looks fantastic!

Natalie - What a great idea for a pillow. It turned out great.

I've finished some crochet projects (finally figured out what buttons to use LOL!) and done a little sewing for some friends:

Oh wow! So many new and beautiful new projects! Everyone's new projects are amazing. I haven't gotten as much done this week as I would have liked to. My husband is out of town and I am taking care of the kids myself. When he is gone my projects tend to take a back burner. Thank goodness it's Friday and he has returned. Now back to my crafting.

My hand made greeting cards. Each card is only $5.00. So much fun sending these out to my farm girls.

Have a great day.

I appreciate the creativity of everyone here and how supportive we are of each other. We inspire each other, too. Thank you!

Heather, I love your boutique crochet accessories and those wonderful bowls/baskets!

Marie, your crocheted cupcake hat is the cutest! Love the cherry on top!

Joan, that card is sweet! I also looked at the Marketplace and saw the other ones, too. Love the 'Sassy Pants' one a lot.

a month or so ago,, I started a Unicorn cross stitch work for one of my grand-girlies.. I finished it today, framed it and gave it to her...
and go figure... I forgot to take a photo of it.. oh Duh!
Any way,,, that's the extent of crafting for me while baby sitting the grands for 7 days,, ( they went home tonight)..

Oh wait,, Soleil and I made a shoe box full of YOYOs,, but she took them home to sew together into a dolly quilt.

Thank you everyone for commenting on the hat. It uses up a lot of baby yarn which I need to do. It is crochet into it's shape. Crochet again over the shape to create little ridges. Then crochet again with ruffles on the ridges. (See Ruffles DO have ridges.) I am certain the little girl who gets it will love it.

Marie, that's suck a cute little cupcake hat! I bet it will look adorable on a little girl!

Joan, your cards are adorable as always.

Grace, did your daughter go on the Younique cruise? I was wondering if that's why you had the kids.

I finished my heart for the swap. Just need to do some final touches and it will be ready to mail hopefully tomorrow. Now I need to decide what I want to work on next.

Finished the dachshund quilt. It was a difficult color scheme to match, so I decided to use contrasting colors. Oskar likes it.
