Finished the rest of my stocking stand. All that's left is nailing it together. I'm hoping my dad will have a chance to help me this weekend, so I can have it all done! It's gen a super fun project. Now onto finishing the rest before Christmas.

You girls have been busy. Love all the projects going on. Your quilt is lovely Judith, and the bunny is too cute Natalie. I like the way you repurposed the bucket.
Krista those reindeer are adorable! Heather I love to crochet too. Great gloves. I've never tried to make gloves yet.

I have a quilt basted together for my youngest grandson. I think I may tie it off as it takes me so very long to quilt them by hand. I still have quite a few to get done. I want to do one for each of my children and grandchildren. So far I have only done a few. Since there are 7 grands I need to get a move on.

I signed up for the Stuffed Christmas Stocking Swap, and caught the stocking fever! These are the ones I've crafted so far and they are lying on a new quilt top.

Krista, that is just too cute! Great job.
Nice stockings Vanessa. You have inspired me to make one for the Christmas dinner hostess this year.

Great work ladies! You inspire me to greatness---but I can't get there from here---LOL> As so many people tell me---you just have too many animals. But that is my greatness---I am the animal whisperer. My last wish in life is to raise a bear cub and then I will be happy---or maybe I should just learn to crochet.

Vanessa, cute stockings.

Denise, you are amazing. Making a quilt for everyone is so sweet. I bet you will get them done in no time!

It's a snowy day here so we have been staying inside. I made my first batch of spritz cookies today. I'm taking them to Thanksgiving tomorrow. While they were baking I worked a little more on some Christmas projects. I'm hoping to finish my MIL diamond painting tonight. One step at a time!

Last night I finished my candles that I am giving to my neighbors for Christmas. I decided to go with a sweet orange scent and colored the wax a light orange. I made an extra one for me to burn. I'm going to test it out first. I really hope it works! lol otherwise I will feel dumb! But I noticed today, now that they are completely cooled the wax has cracked. Does anyone know why? Is that normal? I also learned the hard way that you need a special sticker to make the wick stay down and in the center. Lol

Crocheting a baby blanket today. All white. My daughter was given loads of yarn and wasn't going to use it all so she passed it on to me.

Denise, that is wonderful. I had a friend give me her yarn that she no longer used awhile back. I was super excited for all the new yarn and new projects I could make.

While waiting for the repair dude to arrive and see what was causing our heater unit to hic-up, I played in my craft room...
came up with a felt craft idea that I saw in "Country Woman' magazine.
Lil felt Angels..
hmmm,,, I could make an Angel garland or just tie each one onto a gift package.. or...???

I can cut out 4 per piece of store bought felt squares,,, (white).. I used scraps of wool felt for the back side.

and what a great way to use up bits of trim, buttons etc...
What a great craft project for the kiddos too..

fyi.. a 'panel' in the heater unit went out, new one on order.. repair dude will be here on Wed. to replace/install the new panel..

Grace,
How cute. I saw them in Country Woman too! I like the garland idea. I have some already made from a few years ago. I forgot! I also have
gingerbread men, stars and trees. I'm making a garland! Thanks for the idea.

I like the garland idea. It would make for a cute garland that goes around the tree.

I have been really slacking off. With all the Christmas activities and moving I haven't had a chance to finish any of my Christmas presents. And I'm really stressed with only 9 more days. So I plan to sit down today and work on some crochet. We still have tons of boxes to unload but They can wait until after Christmas.

Tiny Tree -- Temecula Quilt company's free Christmas quilt pattern this year. It will be about 14x16 once I get the binding on. I'm goin to give it to DH's niece to thank her for watching over him the past 6 weeks. This was a fun little project. I fell in love with the squirrel fabric and hated to cut it up.

The tree quilt is lovely, Judith. And I agree. The squirrel pattern is darling. Your niece is going to love it.

I'm hoping to finish up a crochet hat today. My cousin asked me if I would make it for her daughter for Christmas. It's suppose to be a cactus looking one.ill share pictures once it's done.

Ta da! My mother-in-law's quilt is done at last! It has been a UFO since 2016 or so. Although she said I didn't need to finish it, she caught the bug and now she's working on another top.
