The pattern is easy if you already know how to sew like we do. I love it.

I started a new pair of wool socks for myself. Finished the last pair and have already had some weather cool enough to wear them. These are wools that I have had for over 2 years now just waiting for me to have the time to make something just for me!

I've been working on this for almost a week. Just have the tailfeathers left to do. And I might do a freehand quote on the other end.

Samantha you remind me of me. I can follow a pattern for only so long before I have to do it my way.

Tonight I am working on a baby sweater that Ed's sister had started for a neighbor's little boy. She had only done the back and now I am making both front halves at the same time (that's the way my mother taught me - so they are the same size. LOL!). I do not like the pattern, but I guess after I do the 4-row pattern a couple times I won't need to keep referring to the instructions.

Samantha, Your embroidery is lovely.
CJ I love the bunting and the journal, very nicely done.
Linda good luck with the sweater. No fun when you don't like the pattern.
I'm working on a quilt, I had to reverse sew a few rows and put them right grrrr.
I hate ripping seams, so unproductive

I made some Star Wars wine glass "footies and coasters for our family Christmas get together. Now I want to work on a coupon holder for a shopping cart. Found these ideas on Allfreesewing website.

I'm great at "frogging". I've been "frogging" (rip it, rip it, rip it) several times on this baby sweater I'm finishing of Betty Lou's. Took me a few rows to learn the pattern correctly. LOL!

On Dec 28 I posted that I had pinned an apron pattern onto fabric but would have to wait for a good day to cut it out. Well today I was able to handle the scissors and cut it out. Hope to begin sewing on it later this week. Want to have it done before egg gathering apron pattern is ready.

This was a linen "pocket" that I found at a thrift store a long time ago. When going through some of my linen collection I rediscovered it and decided to make something for the glamper. It is 7 1/2" wide and 8" tall. I sewed a piece of natural colored heavy duck to the back with a strip of plastic in the top to stiffen it and so that it would hang nice and flat. Added a length of lace that matches the lace I've used in the glamper. I think it'll work well for little lightweight treasures, hankies, a few postcards, etc. Plan to hang it in the glamper for decoration.

Bonnie, you are so funny, done with the frogging and put back together correctly, I've had to do repeat frogging several times on other projects.. then repeat the original mistake. Thats enough to make me put the project in the UFO bag for another day, but I want to finish the current quilt so I can work on something else, so close!! I'm going to hopefully finish tonight :)

Jessica the afghan (?) is really pretty. Love the colors.
