Here is the finished doll that I have been working on for the last month.

She is one of my favorites.

Well. just for giggles I sat down at my sewing machine today... and this is what I came up with...

The color is more intense but there was so much light in the room that I could not get a good photo shot...

The center sq. is called 'shufly'... I am making a table topper... now I need to decide what to do for the top stitch.. I haven't decided whether to hand stitch the topper or just do a simple cross top stitch... but for now I will set it aside and get back to (finishing) crocheting another rag rug,, one that I started a couple of weeks ago... Darn UFO's... lol!

Very pretty Mz Grace. I love the color combo. I seem to have more and more UFO's but last night I worked on the Quilt of Valor from all the red white and blue fabrics that ya'll sent to me. It is coming along nicely. I only worked about 30 minutes but got almost all the HST ironed and will put them on the project board this weekend in the order that I want to sew them. I think I may have decided on a boarder strip of 2 inch blocks .... hmmmmm .... maybe not ... ok I have not decided yet. But it is really nice to be sewing again even if its only in spurts.

Hugs and prayers, Daizy

I finally finished this bookmark. The chart is from Mary Engelbreit's Cross Stitch For All Seasons - The Happy Gardener picture. It has 2 small pictures on each side of the large picture, and they make excellent book marks. I already have a favorite book mark, so I'll probably give this as a gift

ok, here it is, still can't get the colors to show correct...

I used the 'cross stitch' design on my sewing machine for some of the top stitching..

Made this awning border for the rock guard/window cover on our glamper trailer this week. Wanted something "sweeter" and more attractive to help "girlify" it up!
Battenburg lace, super muslin, sew-on Velcro, Liquid Nails exterior construction adhesive for metal and my sewing machine!
I'm very happy with the result!

So I'm getting a raffle basket together with the theme "doggie bag".
I traced dog silhouettes from my computer screen, then filled them in with paint.

It is only one bag - I painted on both sides. I got 2 doggie themed books and will find some wine with a dog on the label, duct tape with dogs on it, and dog stickers. It's for a raffle and booze is a big draw for this group.
The brush slipped when I was painting the Great Date so I had to add another leg so he wouldn't look excited.

Not working on anything today after hospital stay. Just wanted to share that a friend and her mother have gifted me with her mothers pvc quilting frame and her unfinished Dresden Plate quilt. I'm so excited about both of them. Friend's mom has made oodles of quilts and does only hand quilting. I hope I'll be up to it!

So many cute projects! I just started crocheting a scarf, hat, and glove set for my oldest son. Have to start getting ready for Winter in Summer. LOL! All about preparedness. After his, I have another boy and then a girl set to do. Hubby never decides what he wants until after he has frozen a couple of days. ;)
Keep up the good work, ladies!

Your doily is beautiful. I have not challenged myself to knit a doily. Is it easy?

Hi Girls...I haven't been on here for a long time because I haven't really done anything worth
sharing for awhile. Though I do lurk on occasion to see what the rest of you are doing.

I just finished my First Ever Granny Square Afghan. I started it two years ago...did the 144 squares
in 3 or 4 weeks...but once I started putting them together...I didn't like that part. It was boring.
So, I shoved it in my closet for two years...and I just took it out a week and a half ago, determined
to finish it. I always finish what I start and this was my longest stall to date on any project. LOL

Spread out on my Dining Room Table

Fold and Displayed on a Chair in my Living Room!

I feel such a sense of accomplishment...now, I need to go finish my Grandson's Irish Santa Christmas
Stocking. Another project I started 7 months ago and didn't find it as much fun as I remembered from
years Past. But he will get it this Christmas...I'm determined.

Love and hugs,
Peggy
