Katherine, so sorry for your loss. Your project that you pictured is most beautiful I have seen posted here in a long time. You should be very proud.

I'm working on these ornaments, and crocheting more scarves for folks in need.

(I'm blocking them vs. using a stiffening agent)

Kristina, lovely crochet! I cannot crochet for the life of me. Too many years of knitting! I'm just not delicate enough! lol

This is my first time on this forum. Wanted to share the shawl I took off my loom yesterday. Have to warp my loom today and begin another one.

I do love all these crochet things but just can't seem to figure out how to do them. I love to knit, but even then I psyche myself out over certain stitches.

This isn't what I'm working on today, it's what I finished yesterday (for a baby shower at 4 pm!).

Shameless Quilt Boast time. Check out the My Heart Quilt on my blog. I bought the top from a farmgirl on Etsy, I think. It turned out pretty good.

I'm not working on it right now because I'm at the office, but I found a pattern in my "knitting patterns that I'd love to knit if I ever had 2 seconds to put together" book of knitted stuffed Lovies for children by Louisa Harding. Normally, her stuff is WAY too complex for me, but these are easy, and I'm going to knit up the tabby kitty. There is also a teddy bear and a rabbit. Basic stockinette on two needles, I've already knit the body and two legs. If I'm feeling better this evening, I'll knit the arms and tail and get stuffing later this week. At this rate, I could knit the rabbit and teddy bear, too. They will look cute sticking out of Violet's stocking!

I just finished another scarf, and am about to ship them off to a farmgirl in need, in NJ. If you want to help her, visit the "Gathered Up" forum, and look for deb's post.

Finished another patchwork bear for a friend I've never met. Each time she has a new grandchild, she decorates the nursery, saves fabric to send to me to sew up a bear.
