Grace, I just ordered your redwork apron! I'm delighted you've been able to revive the style! This is exactly the kind of apron my great-grandmother wore in the 1940s, based on photos in my family album. (Maybe I'll scan and post one if I catch a minute.) I also remember an neighbor-lady wearing this style in the late 50s when I visited my friend at her home and we learned to pull taffy together :-) She had and regularly used one of those old-fashioned wringer washing machines, which I found fascinating.
I'll be wearing the heck out of this sweet relic of bygone days. Looking forward to receiving it. |

Just wanted to drop in and say I wore my newest apron on Mother's Day, and got compliments from my daughter. And it was worn while holding the newest little baby, and also cooking baked chicken with carrots and potatoes....see how your creations are a part of lives? Thanks!
