Good for you! I sure hope the new job won't take you away from all of us...I know that sounds selfish but we all look forward to your words of wisdom and goodies.

Bonnie- Thank you so much for the congrats! I am so very excited! This is going to be a big change for our family. I haven't worked outside the home for 40 hours a week since Nora was born 2.5 years ago, but she really loves her daycare group and loves going to play each day. So I think this will be a good step for her.

Thanks! I'll be working at the same place my husband works. Our desks will be with in throwing distance of each other but we will be on different teams with differnt managers. I will have a cubicle with low walls to myself and I will get to decorate it as I want to. I will be doing phone and computer work but I will have free time so I forsee a lot of crafts getting done at work!

I just love this porch. There are so many great snacks and music and multiple temperature controls. Which corner has the 68 degree temps with a gentle breeze? I've a hammock and some snacks to share. Does anybody want some pineapple and shrimp pizza? Oh, and how about some rum balls? Is there any hot chocolate left? I just love the warm fuzzies this porch has.

Is there an empty rocking chair on the porch? I have just made fresh hot cocoa and topped it with whipped cream and a peppermint stick! It is so delicious. I also brought a basket of fresh baked shortbread cookies. Wrapped in my shawel and sipping cocoa I feel warm and right at home.

Oh My Goodness, I thought it was bad at 28. We had snow last week but with the temps at 32 it did not last at all but it was great big flakes for a little bit. I can put up with cold weather for about 3 days- max- then it needs to warm up for awhile.
How do you guys live with it long term? What kind of tea is that, Tammy?

Alee, Can't wait to hear about the job. Stay warm!!! Julie in Louisianna, We who live a bit further south just don't have the clothes to keep us warm in those temps. They aren't even in the stores down here. Lots of layers help.

keep searchin'-it's out there somewhere.
