just read this chat for the first time. I think this topic is very interesting. I use essential oils a little bit. My favorite salve is made with plantain. The weeds that grow in your yard. For stings and burns it works miracles, in my opinion. I do grow herbs for cooking, and have dried nettles for my dad for tea.

I'm loving this group! Peppermint is a stimulant and potent pain killer. Be very cautious if using on body almost always mix with a carrier like coconut or grape seed oil. It's very effective in deterring pests on house and camp areas.
