I received a nice surprise on my computer today. A quilt I entered in the Country Living exhibit for this year's Houston International Quilt Show has been accepted. This is my favorite quilt, so I'm very pleased someone else likes it as well.

Karin,
That's beautiful! So expressive. It looks hand-quilted - is it?

No way can I top Bonne's posting :)
You have every right to be proud of your work and of being accepted for the show.
Beautiful work, the whole thing. How big is the quilt? Hard to tell if it's wall hanging or bed size. Lot of work you put into it.
I'm proud to say I know someone who can do such detailed quilting.

Karin,
that is beautiful and the quilting is just gorgeus! You deserve it that is a lot of hardwork.

Karin it is gorgeous! I love the owl theme and your quilting looks pretty darn good to me. My favorite quilting instructor had a saying...If a blind man running can't see it then it is ok in my book! Well blind or not blind great job!!

Bonne, thank you for the dancing WOOHOO, it really made me laugh.

Ronna, this quilt is like four feet by four and a half, so really it's a big wall hanging or a tiny quilt, depending on your point of view....

Thak you all for taking a peek and for your kind words...

A whole bunch of my quilting friends from all over the U.S. are going to the Houston show. I will ask them to look for it. Is there a special section that they will have to find?
