I thought this dishcloth summed up how we knitting farmgirls feel :)

Materials:
1 Ball Worsted Weight Cotton
Size US 5 or US 6 (3.75 mm or 4mm) knitting needles
**Note: The needle size is really up to you, but if you are a loose knitter, I would strongly suggest a smaller needle size for you so your stitches really "POP" out better! When you knit loose, the "picture" stitches sometimes get lost with the background stitches...remember...the tighter you knit, the better...so if you're not a tight knitter, try changing the size of your needles...let your needles do all the work for you :o)

Measurements:
8 3/4" x 8"

Instructions:
Cast on 51 sts.
Rows 1 - 3: (k1, p1) across row to last st., k1.

THANK you! I love to knit. Made a few with Praying Hands last season, to give to friends as gifts.
Gonna make these this season to give away too.

Too hard for me. :-(
I wonder if it can be altered to just have the heart in the middle?
Or what if I just knitted the basic pattern without the words?

Linda, this is done in knit and purl stitches so if you know those 2 basic stitches it's a lot easier than it looks to do :) And of course if you need any help, we're here to assist you!

Linda, I think you can do this. You might want to invest in the magnetic board that you use when sewing and then you can keep track of each row. It just looks overwhelming but if you are careful about keeping the rows straight....well, you might just surprise yourself!!

AUGHHHH! I got the first 20 rows done on this and when I looked at it, the letters in the words were backwards. That's the curse of being a lefty and not a pattern error by the way! Soooo, if you're a fellow lefty attempting this pattern, wherever it says knit you're gonna have to purl and where it says purl you'll have to knit. I'll go through my copy of the pattern and reverse all the stitches, and if you're a fellow lefty let me know and I'll send you the lefthanded version of the pattern.

I finished this the other day, just trying to get a decent photo that I can post. I did mine up in purple since that's my favorite color. How's everyone else coming along?

Hi everyone, I'm starting mine tonight. This is one that I'm going to keep : ). I got some more Sugar and Cream (I called it Peaches and Cream on another thread, oops)yarn today. Oh it was a good price to, 12 oz for $1. 59, got two of them. Its more the color of fall which will make a whole lot of dishcloths, lol.

I got the deck doors open and the nice rainy day brought a nice coolness to the woods. Nice, relaxed and knitting. A cup of hot coffee would be good right now too.

I'm knitting thinking how cool it is that my new farmgirl friends are all working on the same project : ), thats pretty up there!!!

Happy knitting, linda

Ok I got to row 12 and it is to losey goosey. Plus i'm using yellow yarn, to light I think for the letters to show up on the one I'm doing. I'm going to wait and get a darker yarn and smaller needles for this one. Guess i'm a lose knitter.

Like Diana said , you want those letters to pop out, Mine look like they flopped out : (. This is going to be my weekend project.

Happy knitting all : )
