That was me too~sewing things for a show coming in 3 wks. I stitched together the upholstery
squares that I'd squirreled away and made a patchwork tablecloth to put on my craft sale table.
Plus I marveled at the Halloween Mini Aprons that arrived today ;)

Those mini aprons are sooooo cute. I got no sewing done today. But, I did re-arrange my sewing room and create a corner decorated with antiques and one of my treadles....to use as a display area for picture taking for my etsy stuff.....took all afternoon just to organize one room!
Back to sewing tomorrow...

purty Bonne...
project that WILL get worked on today...(maybe) baby outfit for sewing class...due date...I want it done by Tuesday, sewing teacher said as long as it is done by the end of all our lessons...haha

quick question...any idea why I've had to set my top thread tension to "0" on all types of fabric from denim to typical cotton for the stitches to be right? I cant find anything in my book on it....and I'd really hate to have to have it serviced right now...I'll test it again today, and see if it just needs cleaned better...

Who'd have thought that fringe would look good on an apron, but it really does!! Perfect fall earthy colors~LOL
I put it on a wrap skirt I made done in a tiger print and it looks awesome on that too.

Bonnie, I like your unique fall apron with the fringe. Before joining Farmgirl Connection, I wouldn't have tried the things that I now try.
Bev. I visited the Blog for Bees Without Borders. I enjoyed getting to know more about you. I hope to learn more about the others here as well.

Not an apron, but I SEWED it nonetheless! LOL
An embroidered denim A-Line skirt w/patch pocket.
I'd picked up several different embroidered denims at
Joann's big blowout clearance a while back, and figured I'd
better git bizzy on them.

I took an A-line pattern that called for a zipper and just cut the top a bit
wider at the top, rather than how it's supposed to curve in, then stitched on a waistband
and ran elastic through it so that it's just a pull-on, aka: comfortable.
Front skirt, back skirt, pocket and waistband~EZ.

Bonnie, great job there. I picked up some embroidered horse denim a while back and made aprons with it. The embroidered denim is so much prettier than just plain denim.

That is so pretty! I am already getting excited about Christmas and that apron is perfect!

I just made a Halloween apron tonight with my friend. The fabric is the same one Bev had a few pages ago. (The one with vintage Halloween pictures on it).
