The Mail Art thread has become 28+ pages long, and many members are not reading through it all for updates on what has transpired.

If you are interested in joining this group of people, click here: http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/farmgirl-connection/mail-lists.asp

As has been discussed, Mail Art is whatever creatively inspires you, anything literally, (within good taste guidelines) can be sent to members. The idea is to send first to the person whose name is directly above yours on the list, and from there at your own choice or pace; but trying to average at least one mail art piece being sent out per month.

It's great fun!

Here's the link to the mailart that MJF has received:

Thank you for the update! I actually just finished reading ALL 22 PAGES of that thread. :O It was a fun, if lengthy, read. ;) I'm really excited about this project, and can't wait to get started! :D

This mail art is just what I needed to get myself going again!!
I have been working on a childrens book for almost a year now and the only thing holding me up is that I was out of motivation for my illustrations, but once I sent out a couple pieces of mail art I got all excited about my book again!

Hi Clare ~
Did I miss something? If I am interested in becoming part to the MailArt project, what is it that I must do? You say that the contact person is Kay and that I should email her, but how do I do that if there is no email link added in your post? I hope I'm not being too silly with my "duh" questions! I just want to be a part of the fun!
Thanks SO MUCH for your help!

Go to the member section (link at top right of each page)... Click on the "t" category, and you will scroll down and see member name "therusticcottage". Click on that, which brings up her profile. At the top left of her profile you'll see "click to send email". When clicked, this brings up a pop up box wherein you type your message. Her email remains anoymous until she replies to you. This is a security feature. The only reason this wouldn't work is if you have a pop-up blocker installed on your computer as part of a security package. If you can turn it off temporarily, then it should work.

Glad you found us, and welcome!

I just wanted to say I am sad, I've been in the group for two months and have not received anything yet. I know it's better to give than to receive, but I sent out four so far, does anyone want to make this farmgirl feel special this month? Smallgraces

Jennifer, you are special! Mail or not. I'm with you, still waiting. I'm hoping for the best. I bought a cute retro poster to help me laugh about it. A farmgirl waiting by the mailbox. I'll have to send you a picture of it. :)

Hi, there, farmgirls! Okay, Jennifer, Michelle and Bev - here's a virtual mail art just special for you three:

Okay, so it's a little fuzzy, and not really art, but it IS ARTHUR!!!

Sending you all a sweet baby smile from my sweet baby...

XOXO, Libbie

Oh - you all are so sweet! He is just as squeezable as he looks - I can hardly help myself sometimes! I've given him LOTS of extra hugs and squeezes from you all this morning, and he's been smiling and giggling like CRAZY!
