sure add me to this I love yo-yos also wondering if my 3 daughters can do it they where in the last one too. I make sure they do quality work. So there would be four separte people doing it from my house if that is ok.
Yes, I would like to do this in, too. Can we make it 50 total? CD size? Variety? Please post when you can due date. I am thinking like end of June or early July.
Yep, count me in..... 50 is good & I have plenty of CD's (I normally hang them -CD's-in my Almond tree to deter the birds from picking off all my almonds, my family calls it "The CD Tree") So I will use one as a templete. Hmmm, I may have to make a yo-yo clown for a friend of mines new baby.... perfect timing. I'll start cutting this weekend.... Oh, & M.J., I new you would be signing up for this one! LOL!
Yes, Grace! I am loving making these yo-yo's! I am sewing them on everything I have made recently! Pin-cushions, potholders, writing pads! You name it! Thanks for telling me how to make them!
Hugs, Maryjane Lee

Thanx Sunshine for the tutorial..... When I was younger and a SAHM I did 'piece work' for a factory in the next town over, & guess what it was??? yep, making yo-yo's for the company to make "Zippy the Clown". a yo-yo clown rag doll. New here I am 25 years later making them for fun. If I recall, I got paid 2cents a piece,,,but the nice part was once a week I would go pick up 1-2 hugh bags of pre-cut circles, stitch them & draw the circles up. I would work on them while my daughter was playing/napping & also in the evening while watching T.V. ~ ~ ~ ~ Hmmmm, M.J. do I see yo-yo's as a decorating element in your canned ham??? LOL!

I think a variety is great, but if you want to do multiples of one fabric that's okay too. Use any any all colors you want. I don't want to set too many rules on this to keep it fun. For example, if we have all 20 sign up, even if someone makes 19 in one fabric, each person will still get just one of that fabric when I do the round-robin envelope stuffing at the end. My goal will be to have each participant get 50 different yo-yo's in the end. With 950 yo-yos to cull from (20 x 50 = 1000, minus the 50 the swapper sent in), I have faith variety will be maintained!
As for mailing, how about a postmark of June 22. I'll edit the original post to reflect that.

Well mine are cut out, so I suspect tonight I will either start stitching them or pick up my crochet hook & do some more work on the still not finished afgahn that I have been working on for my DH for the past year. 'Sew' many fun projects & 'sew'little time! lol! tata-4-now
