I have a batch of elderberry gummies in the dehydrator now. the recipe is in the currant MJF issue. I did add more honey then the recipe, as I am not a huge fan of straight juice. We tasted one and they are not bad. A great way to get your daily supply of elderberry juice. Will see what happens after they dry over night.

Order for 1 lb of organic dried elderberries came yesterday. Hope to work on gummies next week.

I'm doing elderberry and mint tea to lower my inflammatory CRP numbers. They are really high right now because of fibro. I will let you all know if it works when I do my next blood draw.

You can buy dried elderberries and rehydrate them to use as juice. I don't do badges, not enough time in my day. lol We have been trying to drink juice and now eat the gummies everyday, to avoid any illness. so far so good, and hope it stays that way.

Michelle, happy your elderberry gummies turned out okay. I would like to give it a try if I can find a source for the juice. If you work on badges I think there is one for using Chillover Powder.

they did shrink up pretty small, but that is ok. Concentrated in flavor for sure.

Thanks for sharing that with us Michele. I hope the gummies dried perfectly for you. Elderberry has many health benefits and is great for the cold/flu season.
