Isn't it crazy how Mother Nature can switch moods!!!

it was nice and somewhat sunny 2 days ago,, and then yesterday.. the winds and snow started up!
this is my morning view out back...

and the winds blew so hard, that the snow worked it's way between the screen door and door at the back of the house..

I couldn't even open the front door as the snow was piled up a good 10+ inches...
DH had to pull out the snow blower and clear the side walk and driveway so our Ginger could go out and go tinkle... She is NOT a Happy Camper! lol!
Our Kiki kitty, ran out,, stopped dead in her tracks,, stood for about 6 seconds, and in 2 full leaps,,, was back in the house!! Nope, she isn't a Happy Camper either! lol!
Today is going to be another 'play in my craft room' day!
Any one with some extra sunshine to spare,,, send it our way...

We've had snow as well, only a few inches, but definitely late in the season. No spring here in our high desert...

it was still in the high teens about 2 hours ago (went out to check the thermometer... but the wind chill factor brings it down even lower!
I am snacking on a handful of 'cornnuts' and drinking Kumbacha tea, in my sewing room.. trying to decide what to work on...

Wow that is dramatic! We are having snowflakes coming down right now west of Chicago. We had been around 60 but today winter is letting us know it isn't done with us yet!

EEK!!! I sure hope we don't get that much. I love snow and all but it's spring now. We're supposed to get snow this evening and tonight but less than half an inch. We'll see.

Have fun in your sewing room. Can't wait to see what you find to do!
