I love old Whisky Decanters..... I have one that is cut lead crystal.. it weighs a ton and in day light, radiates in the room..

I like to bling them out,, I have even given some decorated decanters filed with scented bath salts as gifts...

I took the top from an old trophy, painted it red and added a cork stopper.. and TaDa!

I used an old bracelet on this one..

more bits & pieces to adorn my decanters.

the one in the center is the crystal cut glass...as you can see, the stopper does not match, it cam from a candle holder, so, I keep a tea light candle in it.

I usually use a purple or blue tinted, bath salt with a lavender or rose scent.
I keep my eyes open for the decanters at Thrift stores.. even if the stopper doesn't match or is missing.. you can create your own topper using a fancy wine stopper or like I did above, the top of an old trophy.

Great idea Grace

Nice idea, Grace. I'm trying, not very well I'm afraid, to declutter. After moving here I need to give away or sell a lot of stuff. I was going to have a garage sale, but COVID three a wrench on that idea. I don't want to have to police people not wearing face masks. Lol
