Over the weekend I got into some mischief....
I made a Apron from a man's shirt.. a total 'sew-n-go' with no pattern...

I kept the pocket on the one side and added a secrete pocket on the other side.

and yes, as always,, some YOYOs for decoration.

I should cut the buttons off my husband's shirts. He's having a hard time buttoning them with his arthritic hands. That'll
solve the problem! I wonder if he'd notice!LoL!

You are blessed to have such a crafty neighbor. And I am blessed to have you. I love to receive something that someone else has made. To me when I make or receive something home made I think of the time, the patience, the love that went into the preperation, and I am so grateful.

Grace your apron turned out nice! I've made three from men's shirts...all for the grand daughters. The first one for Had's birthday made from her Bapa's old shirt. Then I made two from their daddy's shirt. Two had the neck of the shirt, buttons etc. The third one was made from the back of his shirt, but it had a bib too.

Grace, that apron made from a man's shirt IS the Cat's Meow!! So creative and cute! The darling mug rug your neighbor made is adorable as well. I love how it is reversible too. Lucky you to receive this cutie to enjoy!

Nini... LOL!
He keeps a close eye on me and track of what's in his closet! lol!
:>)

Our Thrift has a 49cent rack,, and that is where I found this shirt.. it had a few stains on it,, but I knew I could work around them..
I found a sweet little flower applique that I stitched on the pocket..
