Hi Farmgirl Friends,

****************************************************************

Hi Ladies, so sorry for my tardy posting of partners, please reach out to your partner for their current mailing address and please be sure to mail out "a few of your favorite things" to her no later than November 30th!!

PARTNERS:

Ladypony76 - Madelena
Ginghamgirl - JillyD
Marlee - Lovinrchickens
Mburns - Fille de ferme
Loribeck - desperadosdream
Suny58 - Watchandpray
Redtractorgirl - Hollergirl56
Natchap - Blessed in CO

Please let me know if I missed anyone - hope everyone has a wonderful time with this exchange! Happy Holidays!

********************************************************************

If anyone is interested in joining in on "A few of my favorites things" swap as the holidays approach, please sign up below.

You will send 3 of your favorite things to your partner, one partner each. These items will need to be something that is a favorite of yours, something that you use or enjoy regularly that you love and/or that makes your life happier, more comfortable, easier. Think: in the kitchen, in the bath, in the garden, something to keep you warm, or brings comfort to you, something to eat or drink - anything at all! You will individually wrap each item and write on a small tag or card why this item is a favorite of yours!

Perhaps this swap will introduce some of us farmgirls to some new items that will become new favorites of our own! Please think smaller, thoughtful items, this is NOT meant to cost a fortune... also, remember the flat rate boxes at the post office for shipping, this may assist in savings on postage depending on weight and final destination!

Preparing this swap a bit early to provide time for thought and planning!

Signs ups through November 15th.

Mail out on or before November 30th.

Happy Holidays to each and every farmgirl that ever was, is, and will be!

Joyce I received your parcel on the 24th! Sorry I didn't get on here until now. Just trying to get caught up with everything today. Thank you so much. I loved everything. The ornament is amazing. I always admire them when I see them. They are so clever, did you make it yourself? The tea is delicious. I really like chai teas, I often make them into a latte with almond milk. I just got a new used sewing machine, so I'm looking forward to doing some sewing, I love the colours of the fabrics. The tea towel will come in very handy as a number of mine are becoming very worn out. The hankie is lovely too. Did you make the soap? Thank you so much for all the extras. I hope you're having a lovely holiday season and Happy New Year's.

Mine is kind of on its way...tomorrow. Our high school (grandson) were in the Regional finals..and that was just one more thing to add to my list these last3 weeks.

Finally ended the madness with a 4 1/2 hour nap to day. We made it to the regional semi final.... We lost Friday night to last year’s winner .

I’ll check at the post office tomorrow when I mail your package off.

Thanks

Thank you so much, Malena, for the thoughtful gifts. I love them. Everything that you sent is something that I would have chosen for myself. I have already used several of the teabags that you sent. I am sending yours out tomorrow and hope that you like what I send.

Thanks Jill! Yours still hasn't left yet - storms have prevented me getting to the post office :/ Tomorrow is another icy day, so hopefully Thursday or Friday.

Debbie, thank you for the wonderful favorite things you sent! I love purple and lavender-scented everything, too. That gorgeous journal will be filled with magic before the end of 2020. All of it will be enjoyed. Those soft socks are calling to me right now!

Winnie---glad you enjoyed my likes. That is funny about the tea and soap we both like. I truly am enjoying the favs you sent me. You were so right about the big dish towel and how handy they are. No I did not make the gift bag---my friend who is very crafty sent me a gift in it last year---she may have made it. She makes all kinds of things and quilts also. I am not very good at crafts---too impatient. This was a very fun swap for sure.

Natalie, as promised when I sent you an email that I received your box. Natalie not only sent me a few of her favorite things but they are my favorite things as well!
Just goes to show that Farmgirls are alike and think alike. Thank you so much Natalie for the Wild Orange Tea, lip balm and hand lotion, I love it all.
Hopefully you have your package by now as it was suppose to be there by Saturday. Please let me know when it arrived and that it got there without any mishaps. There was some discussion as to whether I packed it well enough.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Barbara, your box arrived late on Saturday and what a wonderful surprise! I also love Yardley lavender soap and Celestial Seasons Peach tea!! Great minds run the same track!! LOL!!! The Yves Roche perfume is quite nice. I do love the light scent it has and I am sure I will enjoy using it. It is fun doing this swap and finding out what other Farmgirls consider as their must haves. Did you decorate that darling Santa bag? It looks handcrafted to me and it is so cute. I also enjoyed all of your little notes with every item as well. Thanks again for being my exchange buddy for this fun swap. We had fun!!

Thank You Marlene for sharing with me your love of reading, tea & a beautiful work of art, the bookmark. I can’t wait to get started on the books & they’ ll be passed on after I’m done to my friend who also loves to read. The tea will truly be enjoyed & the bookmark will be added into my daily agenda, my brain, my life. It’s soooo pretty I need it with me all the time.....

Hi Winnie---I got your package in the mail today. It had to go ground only because there is liquid in it, so it will be slow. They treated me like a criminal and had to call and ask if I could even mail it. I think they put warnings on it, but don't be afraid to open it. It's not a bomb---LOL. Actually I will just tell you that it is perfume---I have mailed it to friends a couple of years ago with no hassle---must be NEW RULES as Bill Mayer says---LOL. Anyway---hope it gets there safely and not torn open for bomb inspection. I will never try that again---it was twenty minutes of hell for sure---this world is so crazy---no wonder I hate to leave my holler where I make my own rules. Don't worry---I'm not a nut. I just don't feel at home in this world anymore---I still have my 70's outlook on life and always will.
