Rebecca I love the picture of the red headed wood pecker...looks like the ones who like to make holey electric poles and tree limbs in our yard. Thanks.

Mary I received your cute card today. I showed it to Hadlee. We both thought it was cute. She has my embossing folders but recently bought some of her own. Thanks!

Rebecca, what a beautiful card. I just love birds of any kind. I sit by my kitchen window and just listen to them sing and watch them fly. My grandkids are starting to appreciate the love of nature. Thank you.

It is about the color of my High School graduation dress, which I made myself, smocking the bodice. My favorite color has always been red but my mother thought I needed a soft springy color for a special graduation dress.

Beautiful Woodpecker from Rebecca and Snowflake from Nora, I loved what you wrote inside about Winter- Can't get the Cats to go outside! mine won't either! LOL! Snowman from Marilyn, Homey Home from Linda! and 2019 from Marlene. A Happy New year card from Sara knight-Yellow Rose, not part of this swap, but such a thoughtful card!

Yes, Joan, I received your amazing and darling sweet owls card today. Love the detail in
it including the paper piercing. Very cute card.

Nora, I also received your pretty snowflake card. The purple looked so nice with the white
snowflake on it.

Rebecca, love your pretty red and black bird photo card. It looked so attractive against
the snow and red berries which matched the red on its head. Also liked your ideas for the
New Year.

Thank you Marilyn for your adorable snowman card and cute snowflakes on it too. You
are so right that no matter what the weather it still can be so cold.

Thanks also to Marlene for the New Year's card with all the New Year's possibilities with
another chance. Still can't believe it is 2019!

Joan, I guess you are having snow now or it is on its way??? We have this horrid North wind. Brrrrrr it is so cold inside as well as outside. Our old farm house is not on a slab. Even though the wind can't go under the house...It is still cold. Now we do have sunshine! Winter sunshine makes me happy.

Joan, I'm glad you got my card. As we opened Christmas gifts I was going 'gaga' over the tags and papers. There was one tag with a little snowman. So I kinda sorta copied that idea. Crayons don't color well on slick gift boxes, but I don't own pretty pastel markers at the moment.
Anyway they were fun . And yes I think we could make a whole snow family of we were neighbors! In New York your snow people probably last a while...not in Texas!

I kinda wondered if it was a train layout because of the background...But I thought perhaps you lived in an adorable, old fashioned house. It is a cute photo!
