We use Thieves from Young Living and all of their EO's for a variety of things, along with diffusing them, applying them and making salves, cream, pastes, etc...

We make all our own Cleaners and have been since about 2008. Heres a few items we make....

Orange-Vinegar Spray-

Laundry Soap- (Husband now makes big buckets of Laundry 'sauce')

Dishwasher Paste-

I tried the orange-vinegar solution and love it! I am going to try the oven window cleaner next! So happy to find safe cleaners!

Hi! I am new to being a farmgirl. I love your labels, Peg! They are so cute. How do I make them? I have made the orange and vinegar cleaner and can't wait to try it. I am just starting to get recipes for homemade cleaners. I have used vinegar and water for years, but am looking forward to making my own soaps and cleaners.

I just read about 3 thrifty solutions to cleaning the kitchen. I thought I'd share them with you:-
1. Clean the outside of the oven and around the hotplates with a damp cloth dipped in bicarbonate of soda (I have done this for years and it works quite well);
2. To clean inside an electric kettle, fill it with water and add a few slices of lemon. Bring to the boil and leave for a couple of hours before rinsing thoroughly (I haven't tried this yet, but sounds like a good idea!);
3. Glass oven doors can be cleaned quite simply. When the oven is cold, just soak a couple of paper kitchen towels in ordinary malt vinegar. Leave the paper stuck to the glass for 15 minutes, then wipe the doors. The solution will even take off stubborn deposits. Clean glass doors regularly with a solution of washing soda and water.

Very nice Peg. I bet your orange vinegar spray makes things smell fresh and clean. The labels on your jars are super cute and fun.

Peg,
I've been making my own liquid laundry soap for about 5-6 years, I love it. The orange vinegar spray is intriguing, do you have instructions?

Thanks
Denise Ann
