Hi ladies. I just wanted to say hello. I've been a member here for about a year, but I just applied for my official Farmgirl Sisterhood number and I'm 7339. Now to decorate my patch, which arrived a few weeks ago. Thank you to Winnie for the nice card I received in the mail today welcoming me.

I live in Upstate NY and I'm a single working mom. I have been a farmgirl at heart my whole life, having grown up in a rural area. I currently have a flock of laying hens (8), two goofy Nigerian Dwarf goats, too many miniature ducks, an inside cat, two pet bunnies and two parakeets. I am the new owner of a small travel trailer which I intend to go "glamping" in this summer with my almost-four-year-old daughter, as soon as I learn to tow it! I love to sew, make quilts, collect dolls, embroider, knit socks, and crochet. I guess I'm a do-it-yourselfer! I have found in the last year and a half of being a single mom that there are a lot of things I can do that I didn't know I could do.

So hello, everyone!

I'm so confused!!! LOL! I keep re-reading your introduction and I don't see where your name is Deborah? I thought it was Elizabeth!!! If I am mistaken I am terribly sorry but I STILL welcome you with open arms!! (and maybe a little blushing now) ;)
