is this where we post ideas for future books and stuff?? I'd like to suggest some sort of farmgirl planner! I can never find a planner that's "just right" but a farmgirl themed one sounds great and maybe include tips and tricks and a place to write "farm chores" in or something like that :).

Amanda haw very creative of you! I hope this is as useful for you as the Merit badge workbook is for me. I like your idea of making your own and think it will apply to your earning a literary badge.

Hey all, I realized after I posted this picture and got it printed, that I probably should have the "Official" logo and such on it. I am not selling it, just something I made for myself to keep track of the badges and all. But still, didn't want to get in trouble for not being official and all. So I am redesigning it. LOL! Have a good day ladies!

If anyone is interested in how I did this let me know. I am using the "disk" planner rings to hold all together.

I made my own binder for my badge certificates too. Nice to have everything in one place.

Thanks for the question & explanation ladies! I've wanted the planner for awhile, and when I finally decided I would get one for myself, it was gone :) I rigged up a small binder for myself, it's handy - and then someone gifted me one made by Katie Daisy. I have also tried the bullet journal idea - always searching for something that is "just right" haha. Have a great day!

Good morning Lori and Denise. At this point, our planner is on hold. Producing it was very labor intensive. When we created it initially, we thought we'd get started in a hands on kind of way and then once our volume sales climbed high enough, we would send it to a printer rather than do all of it here. We're in the same boat with the calendar. Thank you for checking in on the planner.

I can't find the planner in the shop either Lori. Was hoping to find something to replace my pages maybe.

I buy planners every year. I haven't seen where there has been a planner come out, or have I missed something? I have only been doing this for about a year.

If you go to the products page at the bottom of every thread page you can find the latest planner under farmgirl supplies on the left side of the page.

When will we be able to order the 2018 planner? Will it be refills?

We think we have our 2017 planner ready. We incorporated your feedback to the extent we could. Thank you! We enlarged weekends and also left space for notes to the right of Saturday and we started with Sunday like most wall calendars (I messed up a couple of appointments because of it!), as well as several other changes. Keep in mind that the size of binder we use also works for our cut and paste cast iron recipes in the back of every issue of MaryJanesFarm magazine--a good use for last year's binder.

Here are some photos of our new 2017 planner:

It's going to be a few days before we can get the new images loaded onto our website but here's the link anyway:

I use the monthly part that has the name of each month for listing birthdays. Changing the planner so the week starts with Sunday would be good. And enlarging Saturday and Sunday's spaces would be nice if it is possible. Though I do love the size of this planner.
The Notes sections is used for addresses for birthdays, swaps, etc. I don't use the weekly section just the month as I can see everything all at once.
I have made and added my own pages for current swaps I have going on and with whom. I love my planner. It keeps tracks of bills, receipts and anything else I need to keep track of. I love that everything can be in one spot when it is time to pay bills, write letters, send cards etc. Thank you all at MaryJane's who have put the work into it for us. At this stage of life I need all the help I can get.

Sorry I don't. In Jan I started out using it but that was the last month I have even looked at it. I'm single, retired and live a simple life so I don't use pages that working FarmGirls or more active women would use.

I did look at the monthly pages and see what you mean about Sat & Sun. Everyday may not be needed every month. What if you did just lines and then days/dates/task could be added as needed.

Instead of using the monthly pages I enter tasks on up-coming daily pages/notes.

Great feedback. I erred when I said Weekly redo. I meant Monthly redo. Do you have feedback on that section also?

MaryJane I use my planner everyday and it has worked for me but I can see a few improvements.

Start the week on Sunday
Eliminate the time of day

As for as you needing more space for Sat & Sun others may need more space for other days so the answer will be to increase space for all days. One way would be to take it from the Notes: area and distribute among days. Comes up one line short. I don't use the Notes: but others might.

Can you decrease the top & bottom margins?

I really like the size of the planner and would not want a larger one but would it be possible to offer a larger choice too for those who need more space.

I like being included in planning for the planner.

As I've been using our planner, I'm not sure I like the weekly pages that start with a Monday and then minimizes the two spaces for Saturday and Sunday. Those are the days that I need to write on the most! And a couple of times I've looked at it wrong thinking Monday was Sunday. This design is more for a M-F work-week emphasis. What are you finding? Should I try to change that next year? If so, how? Feedback, please!

I am using the back free pages to make notes in when I read a book or magazine and find an idea that I want to follow-up with. This way I don't forget where I read the idea or what other thoughts it generated. It is working out well for me and I love having the freedom to have a calendar and note taking pages all in one spot.

I'm using my MJF Planner to help me simplify my life. I don't list more than I feel reasonably sure I will be able to finish that day or at least give it a good start. I'm happier checking off a few things at the end of the day than looking at a long list with no checks.

Judith -- that is a great idea! I have been in a few swaps and have just been putting address cards in my regular file, but this is much much better!
