The River Valley Farmgirls celebrated the 2015 Jubilee at my house May 1st-3rd.

Friday night we had a Farmgirl "Coffeehouse" in my garage and talked the night away.

Saturday morning we had a Farmgirl Junk Swap.

Then we chatted a bit in the "coffeehouse" ;)

For lunch, we went into town to a local restaurant that is an old bowling alley and now serves soups, sandwiches, salads, and dessert.

After lunch, it was time to head for the "firing range" where my husband was the instructor. Many of these farmgirls had never done this before and we all had a blast!

Saturday Evening we were supposed to have a magical evening on the lawn under a big tree...the wind had other ideas...so we cut short our outside fun and headed on inside for an apron fashion show and line dancing!

Sunday Afternoon we ended our Jubilee with a beautiful Farmgirl Tea and Croquet on the Lawn.

We had a ton of fun and are looking forward to next year's jubilee! :)

Hi. Long time magazine reader. New to this website. I would be interested in joining the River Valley Farm girl Club. I live in Jordan so I am close. Let me know how I do this. Thanks!!

April . . thanks for the invite. It IS closer to drive to your house, but it's still over 1000 miles!

Karla . . . I don't think the "Reiver's Rest" is up for that much of a road trip. Probably won't take her out more than just around home.

Maybe someday I can come visit . . .

We really did have a Jubilee. Thanks Mary Jane for giving us a reason. Great memories. Just had lunch today with April and family in New Prague, MN. They have that delicious Czech soup called vermuchka. Creamed with potatoes, green beans, onions, bacon and vinegar and dill. Worth the trip!

YAY for you Karla! I sure wish Florida wasn't so far away because I'd LOVE to be there! Mapquest tells me it's almost 2200 miles and 32+ hours driving time! CJ

Hi April, I saw this thread a few weeks ago and wow, what fun you girls must have had. Well today when talking and sharing this thread with my neighbor we did some brain storming and have decided to copy your idea and have a Farm girl Jubilee weekend here in 2016 for all Florida girls.
So an early shout out to all Florida farm girls you will be invited to celebrate 2016 Farmgirl Jubilee here in North Port, free lodging, food, and fun.
Thanks for sharing April. Hugs Karla

You are correct CJ! It is one of your originals! I modeled it in the apron fashion show too and bragged on your ninja apron skillz! ;)
